Love how you can pitch up anywhere, so makes it more a personal experience.
Would go again at a quieter time.
No me gustó: As we pitched by the river the toilets were quite a walk especially at night but appreciate that we chose where to pitch and could have pitched closer.
Did get quite loud at night but this was to be expected especially being the holidays.

We managed to pitch up right near the river where one of the rope swings were. Kids had a great time being kids.
Toilets were always clean and plenty of loo roll.No me gustó: We had to wait a while for our pizza's.

Love the access to the waterNo me gustó: Only slight difficulty we had was lack if space in the car to take the rubbish home but we knew we had to before we booked so It's not really a dislike

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: It’s a really nice friendly, helpful site, there is stuff for the kids to do, like play in the river and there’s some rope swings around the site too (the amazing big one off the big tree isn’t there any more, which my children was gutted about… but there’s more than enough for them to do still)
Also borrowing a big fire pit and having a fire to sit and chat around and make memories was lovely.No me gustó: –

No me gustó: Unsigned entrance, poorly maintained approach road, lots of litter and even human excrement on riverside path! No drinking water on site, but to be fair that was made clear when booking. Very busy and pretty noisy when we were there, given its proximity to Coventry that's not so surprising.
Thank you for your feedback, it would of been useful to report this whilst you were on site please, as we would obviously deal with the problem, we litter pick every day whilst collecting the free fire pits that we loan to customers.
As with every holiday destination during the school break, this is our busiest time of year, if you're really looking for peace and quit I would recommend staying during the week to avoid disappointment although, this can be said for every town, park, garden, amusement park...country... during the summer holidays.

Jo was a visible and friendly host. Toilet facilities were clean and tidy, despite the number of guests on site. Opportunities to purchase homemade pizza and hot drinks was a nice touch.
Access to large fire pits and firewood was available to purchase - which was reasonably priced.
Would definitely visit this site again.
