A great little gem for families. There are several spots to access the water with paddle boards/ inflatables etc. Rope swings trees to climb, space to play ball games, have bbqs or get a little log burner going. Logs can be bought on site. We took our own.

There is also plenty of space to spread out so you’re not right on top of others.

Don’t really use the facilities as we have our own but toilets and sinks are available. I always take my own loo roll every where just in case.

It’s always an adventure every time we visit.

Lovely location by the river and nice and quiet with lots of space. That’s what we had hoped given the price and limited toilets/showers. We had lush weather and a fab weekend.

Could really do with a freezer to re-freeze ice blocks. Would make all the difference.

My family and I, had a lovely time at Avon Wild Camping. My children loved playing in the river. Swimming and swinging over the river on rope swings. In Beautiful relaxing setting. We loved our camp fire in a fire pit provided by the site. Thanks for having us.

It's great that you can pick any spot rather than have assigned pitches, and lovely that they are relaxed about having fires. Love the scenery and the fact it feels like a very well kept secret. *Lovely* location - the river is beautiful. Russell on-site makes it feel that the place is well looked after.

I liked the simple and quirky toilet block but having the showers in the same cubicle as the toilets meant in the morning it could be a very long wait for the toilet as two out of the four of them were being used as showers. Could be improved by having toilets and showers separated.

We enjoyed this campsite and getting to play in the river. It’s a great for watching the sunset and they provide fire pits.

There are no bins. Most people will take their rubbish away but sadly some people don’t and left theirs behind, which wasn’t pleasant seeing the rubbish on site and in the river. Would be much better if there was bins and recycling on site and more frequent litter picking.

Open space, relaxed atmosphere, toilets and showers supplied with toilet roll and toiletries.
Access to the river was great fun.

The variety of places to camp, the river access and facilities. Great instructions for arrival and very easy to find. There were plenty of spaces to choose for camping and lots of different access points to the river. Sat and watched a gorgeous sunset with a fire pit and total peace :-)
