The site was large and the option to pitch anywhere works well so
People respect each others space.
There is no faff on arrival with do’s and don’t’s, you let yourself through a gate and all you have to do is decide where to pitch up (car is registered via ANPR).
The toilet facilities are basic but generally clean and stocked well with toilet roll.
(toilets/washing up area but NO SHOWERS) but for an overnight stay it doesn’t effect your ability to chill and relax.
There is no lighting at night so be sure to take a torch/headlight, which in my opinion is usually a standard item on the ‘camping list’.
The pizza and hot dog option is a lovely touch and of course there’s no obligation to buy but if you don’t, trust me, you’re missing out on the most delicious garlic pizza I’ve ever tasted!!
If you’ve forgotten your fire pit the lovely Jo (Mollie King) is on standby to loan them out which is something I’ve never come across in all my years of camping!!
Tom is equally as lovely as Jo and it was a pleasure to meet them both.
If you love dogs then you may have the pleasure of meeting Pig
( Shug: schnauzer cross pug).
The river Avon trickles by on the edge of the field which is great for bathing your feet on those balmy summer evenings.
Overall I loved the site and we’ll definitely return but probably with the grand children in tow with a fishing net!!

Nothing other than people who leave reviews saying the place has no showers!!

I love everything about this site. A lovely relaxed atmosphere, no heavy rules.

The staff cleanliness

Nothing to dislike fantastic site

The location is very picturesque, it’s right on the river. It’s flat and great for tents and you have freedom to do as you wish.

Toilets- clean but VERY basic. They’re literally in a wooden shack. There were so many people staying the toilets had queues. It felt very festival like. Other campers completely ruined our time. Both nights there were loud guests. Owners removed the ones from the first night and the second night they took the ‘party’ tent into their hut as the owners were drinking with them which was great until the girls returned loud as anything like they’d stumbled out a club.

Great place we will be booking again soon. Now they have started doing pizzas and slush for kids.

The pitch we stayed on was quiet and out of the way. Right on the river. Toliets are always clean and nothing is too much trouble for the manager Jo.

The gate at the entrance, having to park on a road that cars fly down to have to get out and open the gate. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Lovely staff- they couldn't do enough for me and went above and beyond. The pizza was amazing- I was sent a WhatsApp to pre book and they messaged and called me when it was ready! It was picturesque and serene - just what I was looking for. As a first time solo female camper (with my dog) I felt very safe and secure. I was lent a fire pit when I bought kindling and they even gave me fire lighters. I will definitely be staying again. The facilities are basic but that's what was described so no surprises. Lots of toilet roll and hand wash. Regular drive bys from the wardens (or whatever they are called) which again was most welcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Quiet, safe, secluded location. Friendly accommodating staff. Good flat, spacious ground. Close to river. Nearby pub, shops and local attractions. Homemade scrumptious pizza on site. Fire pit hire.and wood.

No showers, but we knew that and wasn't a problem. It's part of camping.

The free relaxed vibe next to the river not feeling restricted by a ton of rules

The entrance gate is right next to the road so when your opening it you have to put your hazards on and then on the way out, again it’s straight on to the road so you have to carefully crawl out the park on the road with your hazards to close it which isn’t the safest.
