Toilets and combined shower cubicle was a great size and very clean.
Excellent café on sight, with lovely food.No me gustó: Café closed a little too early at 4pm, if wanting food.
The 11am depart time is too early.

No me gustó: Traffic noise and feeling exposed… I was on pitch 9 which is right at the edge of the motorhome area and no sound buffers, like hedges, to buffer the traffic noise and the really loud noise coming from the yard next door doing the boat maintenance. I didn’t think it was necessary for the enormous diesel tractor to be parked next to the site and started running from 7am…

We do appreciate your comments about the noise. As outlined in our booking information, we are a working marina, so there can be activity and associated noise from boat maintenance and vehicles, particularly during working hours on weekdays. That said, we understand this may not suit everyone, and your feedback is helpful as we continue to look at ways to improve the guest experience where possible.

No me gustó: Told me the shop was closing at 16.30 to 17.00 we went back over to get some supplies at 16.10 and the young girls locked up in front of me knowing we wanted drinks from the shop
Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry for the confusion and inconvenience caused.
To clarify, we advised that the café closes at 4:30pm. However, due to it being exceptionally quiet that day, the café team finished a little early at 4:00pm. Unfortunately, this meant they were unable to reopen when you returned at 4:10pm.
That said, the shop located in the chandlery remained open until 5:00pm and would have been more than happy to help with drinks or supplies. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been and apologise for any disappointment caused.
