We stay here regularly as we live in North Wales and it is a great place for us to stop halfway, before travelling on to places like Devon. Everything about this site is positive, huge, well spaced out pitches, clean facilities, great location, very well run site.
There is a pub within a five/ten minute walk and also canal walks.
Site not far from the Historic market town of Nantwich and surrounding areas. Remote enough to be lovely but close to M6 too. Manchester and Liverpool are both within 40 minutes.

First rate fully serviced pitches, each with power and water, immaculate hard gravel, very quiet, bit of a walk to the facilities which are shared with the marina, and booking on pitchup was a breeze, didn’t even need to check in as it was all done online.

Emailed information was accurate, easy to follow instructions for arrival at sight and pitching up.

It was a real shame you cannot walk along the canal tow path it is on the other side of the canal

Clean,quiet,spacious. Loved the cafe who served the best burger I have had in a while. Staff very friendly, good laundry facilities and residents of marina very helpful and friendly. Value for money good but a few tweaks needed. Location is very pretty.

If I had to give constructive criticism: One of us is uses a wheelchair, gravel on all pitches is not wheelchair or attendant friendly, road inside pitch area very uneven for mobility, bins too high for wheelchairs, no dog waste bins closer to pitches. Ramp by elsan not wheelchair friendly. Facilities such as showers and laundry are a distance away for anyone with mobility problems. It is understandable that this is first and foremost a marina, however accessibility could either be improved or described better.
This is not going to prevent us returning but does mean that one of us cannot enjoy the stay as fully as the other without relying heavily on help. Also would be beneficial to have ability to purchase some basic groceries to prevent having to leave site if in motorhome.
