Thank you for taking time to leave us your review. We are pleased you found our facilities excellent and we recognise that you very much enjoyed your previous stay hence the reason for your return stay this season.
We are disappointed to hear your stay was not as enjoyable as your previous stay.
Our site, like the rest of the UK has had 3 months of almost consistent rainfall which has caused some of our grass pitches to become waterlogged and unusable. We have tried hard to open on the dates as planned as not to disappoint other guests by only using our hard standing pitches.
We have had numerous guests staying prior to your arrival (Some with much larger caravans than yours) who have had no issues positioning their caravans onto their allocated hard standing pitches. Indeed, at the time of your arrival there were no other caravans on our hard standing pitches, therefore would of been plenty of space to manoeuvre.
We sympathize with your issue with your car, however we are not quite sure why you choose to drive off the stone area and onto an area of grass getting your vehicle stuck and causing deep ruts.
We pride ourselves on maintaining our site to the highest standard and spend hundreds of hours and significant sums of money for the enjoyment of our guests throughout the season.

No me gustó: The site can be challenging to drive into. Not much room to manoeuvre for the hard standing pitches. Nothing really there for children. Nothing in walking distance to take the kids.

No me gustó: Our pitch (12)was a bit boggy although plenty of hay available to cover any muddy bits.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Wow! Such a lovely site, beautiful setting on a farm, accessed by a lot of little lanes, making it seem really remote to get away from it all. Superb facilities - very clean and modern showers/toilets and washing area in their own little outhouse and also a lovely little canopied seating area. A really friendly welcome and the added bonus of being able to order cream and afternoon teas (served in beautiful china teasets),and pizzas elevated this site even more. Friendly owners were always around if needed, but never intrusive.
