Peace and quiet, free fishing onsite, good facilities, lots of walks and local history.
On arrival was met by Bentley the dog, he seemed to remember me from last year!

Loved the large pond with rowing boat and miles and miles of beautiful walks from the doorstep. Friendly hosts and shower was brill. Had a lovely atmosphere and great value for money.

We’ve stayed on many dog friendly sites before and are happy at most however have always disliked it when the dogs are allowed to roam and invade everyone’s pitches- no matter how friendly. Sadly this seems the case here including the dog urinating on a couple of our belongings. It’s not clear whether the little dog lived there or belonged to another guest. Either way it really has put us off going back which is such a shame as the site is really great otherwise!

Beautiful site, amenities are clean and very useful having microwave, fridge and washing machine available. Shower facilities clean and with plenty of hot water. The added bonus of electrical hookup, fire pits (apologies for the scorch mark) with very reasonably priced wood! Fresh eggs when available and the very lovely farm dogs and ducks that liked to visit. The pitches are huge and also taps very close to site. Beautiful surroundings and having horses everywhere was an added bonus! Very reasonably priced for what is provided!

A quiet and calm intimate site on the rear of a farm. There were 8 or so pitches. The facilities were lovely and clean, along with a fridge,microwave and washing machine. There were frequent fly overs from the RAF sites so great for plane spotting. There's lots of horses on site, a couple of friendly dogs that come and say hello. Behind the pitches there's a pond with a rowing boat with fish in it and a lovely walk down the track. We only stayed 2 nights but would definitely return.

Excellent communication prior to arrival. Very helpful and accommodating. Friendly greeting on arrival, facilities explained and help offered with siting on the pitch.
Wonderful quite site with lovely scenery and wildlife. Good walks in local area. I'll definitely be coming back.

Nice small site, peaceful. We had electric hookup to our tent. But there was also a kettle, microwave, washing machine & fridge provided in the wash up area for anyone to use. Lovely shower.

Small dislike was no freezer to freeze icepacks for the cool box on day tips out.

Gorgeous country setting plus a church and chapel ruins to make it even more scenic. Beautiful horses in the paddocks and a pair of scallywags called Bentley and Barley who visited and delighted us during their tours of the site.
Woke one night to see an amazing moonset which was captivating.
