Liked Scenic area. Lovely walks around. Warm water.

Disliked Unfortunately there were some really loud guest during my stay- loud until very late and loud again early morning. I did leave early in the morning as had had enough of the noise. Other than that, would be a really peaceful setting.

Liked The view was great. It was extremely peaceful & great to switch off. The dog walking field was perfect. The location was great- morning swims at Watermouth harbour just a few minutes walk.

Disliked We felt the facilities could’ve been cleaner - liked everything else & would still return.

It would be helpful for me to know what. Other campers during your stay reviewed saying how clean everything was. I do know that there was a very strong easterly wind which brought a lot of dust onto the site and the amenities with it being so dry and the hay was made also causing dust. Hope to hear from you.

Liked Really enjoyed my stay here, it was calm and peaceful. The facilities were lovely and clean. The apple juice to buy was delicious. A nice location to venture into Hay-on-Wye for the day & some great walks not far either. Would like to return in the future. No wifi but I had great signal.

Liked We personally loved the location of Dog Crag Cabin. From a chat with the locals, its located in the Valleys. Being able to escape the hustle and bustle of the busier towns and walks was really lovely. Only 3 minutes to the quiet Silecroft beach- perfect for dog walks along/bbqs and to eat fish and chips from nearby Milom (recommend Deano's). There's a lovely/uphill walk when you walk out of the farm, turn left, then right up the public foot path. The cabin itself is well equipped, spacious and cosy. The farm location was lovely & our dog really enjoyed this and getting to know the farm dogs. We had to drive to all the well known little towns in the Lakes but with the same road in and out, you can easily get use to where you are/where you're going. Would definitely return and even try out the other properties.

Liked Probably the cleanest camp site I've ever stayed at; at the facilities were spotless! Self-check in but received email information before our stay which was helpful, plenty of spots to choose from. Lovely & quiet and would definitely stay again. Very good value for money.
