Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The whole stay was wonderful. Stunning site, quiet and friendly, no noise after 10pm, facilities are low key - but in the best way - pool table was loved by our teenagers, Chris and Charlotte were absolutely perfect hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay a success
Disliked Nothing - it was wonderful

Yurt (six person)
Liked The yurt was beautiful, and the whole site was lovely. Our spot was extremely private, the firepit and kitchen facilities outside were lovely. Charlie made us feel so welcome before we'd even arrived and all communication was extremely helpful and friendly - to be honest, as a host he probably makes the holiday. It was such a nice treat to have our own water supply and cool box/packs provided, spare gas etc if needed. There was really nothing we needed to ask for but we got the feeling that nothing would have been too much trouble. Can't recommend highly enough for a peaceful getaway with a little bit of luxury.
Disliked Not at all a dislike - but as we were glamping (for the first time) and usually camp in our own tent and never get electric hook up, it would have been nice just for a change to have a plug in the yurt - but understand the want to be off-grid still.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked It was a lovely site where nothing was too much trouble for the owners. The pitch was flat and huge. The toilets and showers were among the best we've had. It was lovely to have jacket potatoes on offer in the evening! It was lovely and close to Bridport, West Bay etc.
We would definitely come back again, thanks Pilsdon View.
Disliked Our only reservation was that there isn't an 'obvious' easy walk out to a local shop or pub, but that's fine.
We chose the site partly due to the knowledge that music wasn't allowed from the campers which can sometimes be loud and intrusive - the campers next to us seemed to ignore this and play it anyway so it would have been nice to see it a bit more monitored, but it was fairly quiet so no real problem.

From the manager: Many thanks for you visit and for taking the time to review us with such good feedback. It’s true that the footpaths directly from the site do involve some mud and brambles. They are not as well trodden as the Coastal path. Having said that, a short drive can take you to convenient parking and walks to good viewpoints at Lewesdon Hill, Pilsdon Pen, Golden Cap, and Colmers hill among others. We are sorry your neighbouring campers were ignoring the rule about amplified music. We try to monitor this and certainly will take your comment on board.
