Liked Big spacious pitches with clean toilets and showers with secure site entrance and walking distance of the local pub and park & ride

Liked Very well situated campsite - Park & Ride into Bath just across the road (£3.40 return) pubs within walking distance with amazing views of the Avon valley and a spar shop round the corner too. The site has secure PIN code entrance and lovely wide open grass pitches, all well maintained. We camped during Bank holiday weekend and never had any problems using the showers, & toilets. When you visit, bring marshmallows for the communal fire pit or your cozies for the sauna or hot tub (at a cost) Thank you John for a cracking time away under the stars

Liked We loved the remoteness of the pitch, which could be found at the very end of a concrete causeway. Plenty of space, and very peaceful. Portaloo was clean and didn’t smell despite the soaring temperatures. Nearest pub is now 1.6 miles as local pub closed but you’ll need to find the secret track to get there via Thackham Village Hall, where a local shop is now open. We’ll be back but maybe not cycle to Arundel again!!

Liked Perfect location for us as we like long walks with the dogs and keen cyclists. Back to basics campsite - field with porta loos and water tap but the price reflects that.

Liked Lovely quiet campsite surrounded by fields. The owners sent us a link to local walks, which enabled us to walk off road to the local pub the Fox & Goose less than a mile away, and also partly off road into Salisbury. Clean site with great communications, easy to find, we will be back as it’s great value for money.
