Liked Lovely quiet site, gorgeous views.
Toilet, shower n wash room kept in first class condition. Washing up sink n drainer inside too. Dog wash very useful our puppy loved it. Lovely friendly site and Robert was very friendly n helpful. Would recommend to family n friends. Plenty of walks near by round the Mere and great food at the Boathouse.

Jun 2025 Liked Lovely set out site. A small mobile toilet block, 1 w/c n wash basin n separate w/c with another w/c n shower.
Washing up area n grey waste. All very clean
Plenty of animals in surrounding fields.
Would recommend as close to the Tissington trail which we biked
Very good value for stay in the camper van

Sept 2023 Liked Nice laid out site. Very clean facilities. Friendly people running the site, in a great location for a stroll up the gorge. Adult only site.

Aug 2023 Liked Loved this site, excellent shower n toilet blocks, sheltered washing up area, picnic bench, freezer/fridge, microwave n kettle, you don’t need for anything. Even washing up liquid n sponges supplied. Very well maintained site with friendly owners.

Nice toilet n shower block which is kept nice n clean.

Disliked The outside kitchen sink for dish washing could do with a shelter across as the sink was always full of leaves

Jul 2021 Liked Very clean n friendly people on site. Very clean shower n toilet units and plenty situated on site. Wi- fi signals all round for a small fee.
Short walk to the beach n train station.
Disliked The busy main road felt as if it was a race track at times but did quieten down after 11pm.

Sept 2020 Liked Nice clean n peaceful site, well set out and good sized pitches.
The toilets, shower and dish washing were very clean. Plenty of water taps around by the pitches. Will be returning again.
Disliked Could do with more wash basins and toilets at the top end by touring site.
