Liked I see different wildlife every visit. Last time it was a kingfisher and moorhens and tree creepers , this time it was a barn owl, a tawny owl, a beautiful vixen , woodpeckers , herons and bats. For any nature lover, this place is for you . Be prepared to be woken up by a polyphony of bird song.. it’s beautiful . And within walking distance is a lovely, welcoming pub to have a really good meal ! What more could you want.

Liked I have stayed before and it never disappoints . This place is unique . Don’t let the lack of facilities put you off .. a cheap fisherman’s toilet and you get to be in the most wonderful place , FULL of wildlife and so, so quiet and peaceful . It’s so easy to pop to Oxford ( the park and ride is cheap ) and places like Blenheim Palace as well as all the beautiful Cotswold villages. The more people stay, the quicker facilities will be put in, so , just try it , you can’t go wrong for the price!

Liked In the 40 years I’ve been campervanning I think this is the nicest ‘site’ I have been to. For those of us who still search for the wild we used to camp in , that is getting less and less possible to find, this is it… one of those sites that you want to tell the world about but don’t want anyone to find 🤣A beautiful field on the edge of a little river and total peace ( except for the dawn chorus at 5 am which is a riot of different types of birds ) Just absolutely beautiful .

Liked This is such an easy site. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating, you choose where you want to be. The toilet and showers are immaculate and the owners certainly work hard to keep them that way and keep the field neat. Showered were hot . We were there for the opera at Glyndebourne… ten minutes drive, the perfect place to stay !

Liked A really easy and beautiful place to stay . Clean toilet , drinking water and a sink. The field is huge and relatively flat . There’s a really lovely pub about five minutes walk away . Yatton station is just 10 mins drive with lots of parking and a train to Bristol in ten mins or so . The site is really reasonably priced too , what more could you ask for !

Liked I use this site a lot as I used to live in the area and have friends there. The toilets and shower blocks are exceptionally clean, there’s the option to buy wood and use a free fire pit ,the owners are very welcoming , it’s peaceful but it’s a working farm so expect the odd tractor /dog/cow/sheep noise . It’s a really relaxed easy place to be . They also welcome dogs on leads . What more could you ask for .

Liked The unfussy ease of it. Park up where you want. Tables and fire pits in situ .. it’s a beautiful, quiet site . The toilets and showers are always clean. If you just want to get away, this is the place. This is my third visit and there will be many more .

Liked This is an amazing site . There’s so much space between pitches, the toilets are spotless , as are the showers. Plenty of hot water . The walks from the site are superb , the skies are huge, dogs are very welcome and each plot has a picnic table . You can buy wood and order fire pits if you want . It’s sooo quiet , a great place to get away from it all . This, for me , is one of the nicest sites I have been to in years and years of camping .

Liked This is a lovely site . I felt completely safe , it’s nice and quiet , the shower/washing up and toilet block is immaculate with loads of hot water . The welcome pack is really thorough and the owner very approachable and friendly ! The WiFi is good on site . The dog was made welcome too . I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone .

Disliked The thing about this olace is that it is just a fireld. You can't find it because there isn't even a sign saying the name of the farm. A huge chain blocked the entrance when I arrived that I couldn't move to get in. There was nobody to tell us where to go, what to do. The firld was a bog that would have been impssoble to put a tent up in... so, despite having paid for four nights.. I left . SURELY , even if it's only £4.00 a night, you could at least make it a little more welcoming.
