The kids loved the attached municipal pools with free entry.
Facilities were clean and tidy.
The owners are lovely and helpful.
Disliked Free roaming dogs and one morning a dog poo on our pitch.
Having to pay for WiFi is uncool. Free WiFi only at the bar area.

Electric grass pitch
Liked We liked the location of this site, close to the town but at the end of a road so no passing traffic.
Facilities were nice and clean.
Our pitch was a good size.
The communal pool next door is free for campers and it was great. It is indoors but there is outdoor space attached. It was very clean and tidy, the staff were lovely.
We got pizza and fried chicken from the cafe, it was delicious.
Disliked The bells, the bells, incessant bloody ringing. I know the campsite have nothing to do with the church bell, and it’s probably been ringing for like 12 centuries but I feel campers should be warned; the bells ring every quarter of an hour day and night, at 6am and 11pm for a full minute! Take ear plugs!

Electric grass pitch
Liked Everyone on the site was respectful and quiet whilst we were here.
Facilities were clean and tidy.
Disliked The restaurant was busy as there is nothing else if you don’t want the long walk into town with a big hill on the way back. We thought it was expensive for what it is.
Lack of WiFi anywhere away from the reception was a pain.
There was no water play area for the kids as the site description says.
No shop.

Fully-serviced grass and sand pitch
Liked What a strange little site this is!
Mainly camping pods, but there is a handful of pitches for a tent, van or caravan. These pitches are not really on a site, it’s really just the side of the road, anyone can walk or drive past. That being said we did feel secure enough and it was lovely to be so close to the sea.
Staff were very laid back, friendly and helpful.

We ate at the inn, a lovely meal, well priced typical German menu.
We ordered fresh bread at the shop for breakfast, lovely rolls.

Electric optional grass and earth pitch
Liked Fantastic location. Across the road is a tiny but perfect beach. Up the road just a minute away is a supermarket where all the essentials can be found.
The campsite is large but we found the facilities were mostly clean, showers were free and always hot.
Disliked Our four nights stay was unfortunately spoiled by the noise from a group staying in one of the campgrounds lodges. On our first night the party got extremely drunk and very noisy, having sex in the bushes beside our van and being sick everywhere. Horrible!
They were quiet for a couple of nights but then again came the noise, until 02:45!
We really feel the campsite should police this, a quick walk around at 11pm would do the job, especially when they live on site. When we talked to the staff about it they didn’t seem to believe us which was poor.
Having kids with us and being in a foreign country I didn’t feel like approaching them only to cause more conflict. Sad that our stay in this beautiful country was only marred by this.
The WiFi isn’t the best, dropping off a lot.
