Non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Spacious site and pitches, great views, very clean, no road noise and beautiful walks on the Ridgeway. Easy check in / out process. Full visibility of little ones too so allows them to roam free a bit further. Great for a night or two stay.
Yes the toilets are portaloos, but it clearly states this and they are very clean and well stocked, never had to wait either. Could possibly add a second wash up station in the future - it wasn’t too busy for our stay, but it could at busier times.

Non-electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The facilities were great and really well thought about, especially with a youg family. The relaxed nature and welcoming of the owners was also lovely. The games area was a hit with our daughter too. You can stroll down the hill to the garage shop for any supplies or treats too which was handy.
Disliked Nothing!

Electric grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked The site was really easy to find and access, even in darkness. The pitches were level and well marked. The facilities were some of the nicest and definitely cleanest we have experienced - plenty of hooks, shelves and chairs around for your things too. Plus a hairdryer! We only did one night as a stop over into Wales, but would 100% return and explore the area around. They provide a well thought out information pack too.
Disliked Nothing, it’s a little gem!

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The pitch space, relaxed and warm welcome, Forest setting and distance from Marlborough via walk down forest path.
Disliked No showers (very clearly stated when booking) but makes longer stays impractical which is a shame as we loved the place .

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked We stayed on the courtyard gravel as it was pouring with rain when we arrived. Lovely setting, easy check in, nice and clean toilet/shower facility. Well thought out design in the showers, with the curtain and folding seat available. We only stayed for one night but would recommend and use again.

Bell tent
Liked It was perfect having the bell tent set up for arrival. Spacious for 2 adults and 3 kids. We had 5 airbeds and fitted well at night and we stacked one up in the day to give us half the tent back. Facilities close to the bell tents so ideal with young ones. Good size toilet and shower cubicles to share with young ones too.
Disliked Although the camp road going through is very quiet, the bell tents are quite close to it down a steep bank, which you have to be wary of with smaller ones.
Parking next to your tent is not an option, but you can be close enough. The campsite wasn’t busy so plenty of parking, but may be tricky if very busy.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Very clean facilities and site, lovely friendly staff, the kids play area was a hit, as were the donkeys, the views were great, the family shower/toilet space was very helpful too with a 3 year old. They had free wifi which was easy to access up near the reception which was helpful when booking accommodation/activities as phone signal is low. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.
Disliked The lights didn't work for my poor husband who had to navigate to the washing up area in the dark, being wet and up steps was a bit of a hazard. We didn't have a chance to mention to the management before we had to leave the next morning, so it may have been a temporary issue!

Electric grass pitch
Liked We only stayed on night, but was easy to find, had very clean facilities (our daughter enjoyed the wash block music), but didn't use the shower so cannot comment on these.
Disliked £5 deposit for the keys to operate the facilities is a faff and lucky we had some cash on us. A key code would be better as this is what we have experienced at other sites. We also felt a bit squeezed in, considering it wasn't too busy.
