Cabrerizos, Salamanca, Spain
Electric optional hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked A very popular site and very busy during our stay. Site has a really good shop, cafe and an excellent restaurant. Site also boasts a decent sized pool all set on site adjacent to the river.
Facilities were excellent, clean, well maintained and with separate disabled wash room.
Site is close to Salamanca, a steady walk along the river, or a bus ride from outside the site.
Disliked The booking in process needs to be reviewed. A 45min wait in a queue, outside? Not acceptable. Sent to pitch '10'? Pitches aren't even numbered. Electric points were at a premium.

Beas de Granada, Granada, Spain
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding pitch
Liked A friendly little site where we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. Site has a small shop for the morning bread, a small pool for a dip and good facilities including a separate disabled wash room.
The site is handy for Granada with a direct bus stopping directly outside the site and the setting affords lovely views of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Disliked Website suggests that the site has a restaurant. It doesn't it's closed!
Pitches are tight. Very tight!

Santiago de Compostela, La Coruna, Spain
Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked A spacious site with few guests when we visited. A rural setting right on the Camino route and a handy 10min drive into the centre of Santiago.
Facilities were good, clean and well maintained in the main.
Disliked The disabled bathrooms could benefit from more grab rails, door locks that work and the same attention from the cleaner as the rest of the wash block.

Ramales de la Victoria, Cantabria, Spain
Electric optional grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked A remarkable little site set in picture perfect mountain setting. Glorious. The site is relatively small with flat pitches for campervans and motorhomes, a dell for tents and bungalows for the less hardy, all set amongst trees and stony outcrops.
The site has a lovely restaurant in an Alpine like lodge with a small shop and comfortable sitting area. The staff were excellent, accompanying us to our pitch on arrival and professional service in the restaurant. Washing facilities were spacious, clean and very well maintained.
But it's outside where the site comes alive, the views!
Disliked Bathroom floor became a bit slippery with condensation.

Electric gravel pitch
Liked An absolutely brilliant site! Situated near to the beach on the coastline popular with surfers and within striking distance of Lisbon.
The facilities were really good. Washing rooms were clean and well maintained and offered disabled rooms. Good sized pool and sitting area was near the on-site shop which was well stocked and offered fresh bread in the morning. Reception staff were really helpful with both site and local information, including the bus from the site to the local town of Caiscas where a train service runs to Lisbon.
After a four week tour of Spain and Portugal this site was my favourite.

Matosinhos, Matosinhos, Portugal
Electric grass pitch
Liked During our visit in September the site was busy but the excellent facilities did not become swamped. The pool and bar area were popular and we did not manage to visit the restaurant. Washing facilities were well managed, clean and well maintained. As a disabled person I was happy to have my own room, this really helps.
The site is located close to the beach and is not a silly distance from Porto either. The reception staff were happy to organise taxis into the city for us to avoid parking issues.
All in all a good stay. Next time the beach beckons!

La Puebla de los Infantes, Seville, Spain
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked A lovely rural site, which was very quiet during our visit. The site aims for sustainability and therefore the facilities are not 5* but they are functional, clean and well maintained. The site has a good shop and also access to fridges to store your food. 'Marianelo' the manager (sorry probably spelt wrong) was very helpful and accommodating.
Situated in the hills between Sevilla and Cordoba, the access to the cities could not have been easier using the train service which runs nearby. And the local town Puebla de los Infantes had all you need in terms of Supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
All together a very good stay.
