Electric grass pitch
Liked The close proximity of the simple but perfectly functional toilet and shower block from our pitch.
The lovely walk along the river behind the site.
The retro swinging see saw that even in our forties, we had to try out!
The amazing meals in the pub. (The steak was to die for!)
The games room in the pub. Having the juke box, pool table and dart board to ourselves was an absolute bonus!
Disliked Nothing really! Not even Storm Boelo could spoil our weekend!

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The huge pitches - you can pitch everything you need on there
The gorgeous hot showers - just what you need in the morning (and after conquering Snowdon! 💪🏼)
The bar - reasonably priced and nice for a change of scenery from your pitch
The freshly cooked pizzas
The happy, chilled out vibe 😎
Perfectly situated close to Llandudno and Conwy
Supermarkets nearby
We were able to stay an extra night! (Just had to move to a non electric pitch - which was fun lifting/dragging the awning! 🤣)
Disliked Nothing!

Electric grass pitch
Liked Really spacious pitches, and a nice area in the middle for our teens to play ball
Toilets were clean and well stocked of paper and soap etc
Good washing up and recycling facilities
Lots of information given prior to arriving relating to the site and surrounding area
We didn't get to meet the owner at any point during our stay unfortunately, but we were given instructions as to where to pitch etc via telephone which was fine
Disliked We could not get the hot water to work in the communal showers for love nor money, even though we followed the tips/instructions on the signs on the wall. We did however manage to get the single showers to work which were again fine for us

From the manager: Hi, we’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the spacious pitches, the central area for your teens, and found the facilities clean and well equipped. It’s also great to know the pre-arrival information was helpful and that the check-in instructions worked smoothly for you. We’re sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced with the communal showers. That’s certainly not the experience we want for our campers, and we appreciate you following the instructions provided. We’ll be checking them to make sure everything is functioning as it should to avoid the same issue in the future. We’re glad the single showers were a suitable alternative during your stay. Sorry we didn’t get the chance to meet you in person. We’d love to welcome you back again in the future and hopefully we will be able to say hi then :)

Non-electric grass pitch (no pets, wild)
Liked The activities were fantastic, and enjoyed by the adults and older teens in our family.
The lake was beautiful, and we absolutely loved the kayaking.
The scenery was absolutely stunning, and we really enjoyed foraging for wood for the fire.
The bar and shop were a great touch, and we loved taking photos on the giant deckchair and in the giant postcard frame!
We had lots of space around our pitch which was brilliant, and meant we were not too close to anyone else.
The wild camping area and forest were absolutely beautiful and provided the most stunning backdrop to our family camping trip. We loved every second, thank you!
Disliked The wild camping toilets could have been checked more frequently throughout the weekend in terms of restocking soap and blue paper towel, and the outside bins were overflowing by the end of the weekend, but this did not spoil things in the slightest for us.
It would also have improved our experience even further if a wider range of activities were available each day, as there were activities that we were really looking forward to, that were not available on the day we did the passes.
