Boogie cabin
Liked Great location next to the beach at Cabedelo, good for families & water sports enthusiasts (kite surfing, surfing), friendly & helpful staff, good facilities - shop, cafe, swimming pool, generally friendly atmosphere, cabin comfortable
Disliked One small thing: not great recycling discipline! Most bins around the site were full of mixed rubbish. Obviously this is mostly the responsibility of the campers, but maybe the site could have better signage

MiniHome 1 bedroom cottage / chalet / bungalow
Liked The cabin was compact but clean, good facilities for cooking - fridge, hob, microwave
Disliked Overall the site was ok but lacked something in terms of atmosphere (but difficult to say exactly what)

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The lovely site, next to a vineyard; the swimming pool; the fact that everything was very eco-friendly, including the solar-powered pool filter and the dry composting toilets; the breakfast; but mostly the wonderful hosts, JP & Jessica
Disliked That I only stayed for one night

Natura non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Fantastic location, very peaceful (my pitch was near the main road but not too busy) very friendly and welcoming staff, facilities very clean and comprehensive - washing machine, microwave, washing up, showers, etc
Disliked I only stayed one night and didn't use the bar, shop, restaurant etc, so not really possible for me to express an opinion

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The views were amazing - looking across to the otherside of the valley, Alfred's Tower near Shepton Mallet was visible on the ridge. The welcome from the staff was very warm. Electric hook-up worked fine. Plenty of room on the pitch (in fact me and my friend shared one pitch, with two vehicles and two tents)
Disliked The shower block was ok but needs some attention - only one of the two showers in the Mens area was working, there was no hot water for washing up, limited shelf space around the (only) sink - although it was clean. The "pub" / shop was a little quirky and not really stocked with anything useful. Maybe during school holidays when the site is busier it would have been more functional

From the manager: Hi glad you generally liked the site and the size of pitches, even if I am a little perturbed by the harsh score There are generally 2 men's showers, one tooth brushing hand washing sink, in the men's. In the ladies 2 showers and 2 sinks 2 men's loos and urinals and 2 ladies loos. With a 10 pitch site and 2 glamping units this generally provides more than enough facilities altho as you experienced if one men's shower stops working.....shame you didn't report to me though instead of on here hey? The shower block has had a small fortune spent on her in the last 5 years but she is a 1987 build and is an ongoing money pit. No we don't have WiFi, our "honesty" shop is just to sell honey eggs logs and a couple of icepoles generally and is in the covered communal area next to our pop up bar, and with sickets for charging devices and a freezer for guests blocks. Hot water for washing up is a weird one as no.one else has reported this other than when the propane ran out, you certainly didn't report it to me, so again I have not been given the opportunity to address an issue ...... I suppose you cannot please all the people all of the time Thank you for your review

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Really great location and excellent services. All the staff were really friendly and helpful (reception, restaurant, cleaners) and the services were above expectation (electric hook-up, toilets, showers, etc). Zumaia itself is a sweet little town that is well worth visiting, along with all the towns and villages along the coast between Donostia-San Sebastian and Bilbao. The campsite is right next to the Euskotren railway that runs regularly between D-SS and B, and is a better way to visit these cities, or explore the area than driving. Would definitely come again, with friends or family
Disliked The hill up to the campsite was the hardest part of my bike ride!

From the manager: Thank you very much for your evaluation Greg. We are glad that both the treatment received by the staff and the facilities and the environment were to your liking. We hope to see you again.
