Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great views from the campsite over the Oswestry area towards chirk. We were lucky enough to be there on the campsite family birthday so there wasa bouncy castle for the children to use, as well as field games im assuming are there year round.
Friendly sheep greated us from the field. Nice for the kids
Disliked Not a dislike just a heads up for the "modern family "...
toilets are non flushing. More, throw some word chippings on top after use. And take your own drinking water. There is a drinking water water barrel type dispenser but save yourself the bother incase its busy.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (motorcyclist, solo, no pets)
Liked Very relaxed approach, however very welcoming and very willing to cater to your needs, all things big and small.
Lovely to see chickens roaming around organically. Owner gave us a bucket of feed for my daughter to feed them and also informed us of the morning feeding of the pigs and sheep that takes place.
On the Saturday evening there is a communal bonfire pit and the children are given complimentary giant marshmallows on bamboo stickers to enjoy.... the adults also getting involved! Each tent pitch is supplied with it's owner fire pit and a couple of bricks for disposable BBQ' s to rest on. The owner even supplied me with some lighter fluid as i was struggling to light my fire. Black bin bag and recycling bag are also provided.
Toilet facilities were basic but very clean. No showers. This is not an issue for us as we like to rough it!
There is a bar on site open until 11pm, with a small seating area. Good for late snacks also with a range of crisps and chocolate.
Overall very pleased with stay. We have booked again as we felt it was great value for money.
Disliked I wasn't disappointed with anything i came across. There is a separate car park which you're told to take your vehicle to once youre set up. Would be nice to have your car next to the tent for convenience. However its a 1 minute walk back and forth and not a big problem.

From the manager: Thanks for the great review. We do have showers and I apologise we failed to point them out to you on arrival.
