Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked Great facilities. Lovely environment. Having a fridge available to campers is really useful as are toys for children then to offer to charge phones in the house goes above and beyond.
Disliked The lovely environment along lots of winding lanes makes it difficult to find. Better signage at the roadside would have helped.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked All booking and site information was sent by text and was clear and informative and Sarah dropped by to say hello during our stay. The site tidy and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The toilet facilities, despite being portaloos, were immaculately kept, clean, fresh smelling with everything you need. We stayed an extra night.
Disliked Nothing to dislike, great site.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Amazing, surround sound, 180 degree view and only 30 minutes from home. Expansive sloping site means no crowding and always a view. David and Richard are attentive hosts. Facilities limited to a stand pipe for fresh water and several portaloos dotted about but these are serviced several times a day so perfectly adequate. We enjoyed the most spectacular sunset.
Disliked Nothing

Liked Large open site with central facilities. The food kiosk is a nice touch and welcome facility.
Disliked The facilities were clean but very compact, if sitting on the loo with your knees on the door (I’m only 5’4”) is your thing then you’re fine but brushing against a toilet seat as you try to close and lock the door isn’t good. I didn’t use the showers for the same reason, very small cubicle so everything is going to get wet.

Liked Your slick, beautifully appointed sites are all well and good but I prefer this style of camping among mature trees on a small site as part of a working farm and to be met by the farmer fresh from looking after a cow in labour was just an added bonus. The facilities were limited but clean and convenient, no long treks when you’re caught short. We opted for a full English breakfast the next morning that could be brought to us or eaten inside the farmhouse. It was just the ticket to set us up for the next leg of our journey south.
Disliked Not a thing although we only stayed one night.
