Disliked No freezer option for ice packs. It’s hard to keep things cold when camping.

Liked Where do I start. we are a family of campers and have camped in fair weather and awful weather so this year we decided to upgrade and try out "glamping" When we arrived in very damp Snowdonia we were welcomed brightly by the owners and everything was explained simply and even offered us a helping hand to take our belongings up to the bell tent. we got to the tent we could not believe how lovely the tent was, comfy beds, a wood stove, blankets galore as well as an extremely well equipped kitchen and an outdoor fire pit to keep the husband happy. The management were very friendly and helpful even when we realised we left one of the kids sleeping bags at home a spare was provided quickly :) The pitch we stayed at had an excellent view on a quiet meadow with only 2 other tents it was a quiet retreat for people to "get away" from the modern world. The campsite itself was clean and tidy and I easily lost my children to all the friends they made that week there were a few tears on leaving The tree house was a definite favourite of theirs. The site was an excellent location to the local sandy beach and all the mountains. And now look forward to planning our holiday next year only this time a longer one!
