Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Plenty of open space, good pleasant clean facilities
Disliked Some noisy guests, loud music on until after midnight, and seemingly no-one from site checking or enforcing the published policy.

Camping pod
Liked Loved the cabin, it was a perfect little getaway location for us as a weekend base for a running event in Malton. It's a cosy, comfortable little cabin, with really good facilities, in a nice quiet location. Had a local walk one day, a wander over to Bridlington and Flamborough Head, and running and food in Malton the next. Also loved the inquisitive sheep in the field and the pheasants in the lane, didn't see the owl unfortunately - heard, but never saw. Would happily recommend and would definitely happily book again.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person, adults only, small)
Liked Great site, lovely location and good facilities. Well thought out spacing of groups, families separate from solo travellers and an 'adults only' space at the front of the site. Showers were excellent, and the little bar was lovely for a couple of beers at the end of the day

Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked Basic and simple, but everything we needed. Portaloos were clean and well stocked, field wasn't muddy, parking and pitches were clear. Rain meant we spent less time on site and headed to the pub, but the field was absolutely grand for what we wanted. Easy to find, easy check-in, very good!

Rail camping pod
Liked Loved the stay, very peaceful and quiet site with a lovely view across the valley. Stayed in one of the Railway Pods, just perfect for three of us for a night in the area. Wood burner warmed the place beautifully on a chilly evening, beds were comfy enough for a good night's sleep, though we were up and out early on our way to an event so didn't explore much more.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Campsite was nice, quiet, basic but uncluttered - just what I needed! Phoned on arrival and pitched up, had a lovely quiet relaxed evening.
Disliked Nothing - was exactly what I expected and needed.
