Liked: Decent sized pitches.
Disliked: Toilet and shower facilities are of poor standard. Nice log cabin look to the outside, but inside are out of date and not to the level you'd expect in the 2020s. Actually looks to be second hand as a number of the units have holes that would be for pipe runs, which aren't there.
Site is next to a chicken farm and the roosters crow from before dawn till dusk. If you have trouble sleeping take ear plugs

Liked: Beautiful peaceful site very clean amenities. Level pitches with well cut grass. Fantastic base to drive about from, the lakes are superb if your into fishing cafe on site has delicious home made food at a very good price.

Someone onsite to inform you where the facilities are and show You your pitch would have been nice, I’m aware that only having 20 you can’t have a 24 hour manned site

Liked: Everything.. the site was quiet, clean and perfect size pitches. Owners met us on arrival.. fishing two minute walk. Close to Thirsk and 40 mins to Harrogate... Just a really lovely site to rest and relax. Thanks for the stay. We will be back..

Liked: Great site so peaceful and quiet. Toilets were very clean and well kept. Showers nice and hot and again very clean. Nice walks around lakes. No road noise only 4 miles from Thirsk. Highly recommended
