Loved this little family run campsite. Low key, great, chilled family vibes. Gorgeous views. Very clean facilities and friendly welcoming owners. They recommended a great place to go for paddle boarding. Everything about our 1 night stay was lovely and chilled.

We didn't use any of the fire wood which was expensive and wasn't offered a refund which was disappointing

Fantastic location in the Newlands valley. Can walk along 2 roads and then you're at the bottom of Catbells. Location is perfect - just outside of Keswick but if you need anything it's only a 5-10min drive away. There's a stream at the side where you can swim in a little and some lovely walks around the area. Staff are lovely, toilets and showers a cleaned and checked often. Lots of pitching space around the outside and middle of the field, pegs went in easy and no rocks either so all pegs came out as they went in which is a bonus. Plenty of drinking taps around the site. Overall lovely site and would highly recommend.

Lovely location with easy walk to Catbells and Derwent water. Toilets kept clean, and showers were amazing - very clean, and powerful water flow. Choose your own pitch and enjoyable views.

Not really a dislike but Could have done with an extra pot wash area but understand that this is a pop up site so investment probably not available.

This campsite is in a great location with lovely views. The toilets onsite were really clean and fully stocked with everything you’d need. It’s a lovely campsite with flexibility of pitching wherever you want rather than having designated spaces. What we loved was the whole vibe of the place, the family running the site are very friendly and helpful and our stay here was very relaxed and chilled. We’ve stayed on many campsites/glamping sites before and we’ve found that lots of owners can be very strict on using your own logs, often making you buy them on site for a crazy price. But here, the owners were more than happy for you to use your own but they also were selling some for a good price. You can hire fire pits for £12 but you get £5 of that back when you return it, which I think is really good compared to other sites I’ve stayed on. Overall, a wonderful stay and would definitely go back.
