Liked: Great location to explore Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and the surrounding area. Site was very clean, well stocked farm shop which also served food. Facilities were regularly cleaned and staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Farm shop and cafe had amazing quality items at reasonable prices.
Toilets and showers are cleaned throughout the day.
All staff friendly, approachable and helpful.
Bike hire was easy and we had so much fun.
Great little pub for homemade food a short walk away.
Great location.
Big pitch.
Quiet site with no music.
No noise after 11pm.

Liked: We loved the facilities and how friendly everyone was. The toilet and shower block was kept very clean and the farm shop was a real bonus when we forgot certain things.

Liked: Very nice site and fantastic location. All areas were very clean at all times. The staff were very friendly and happy to help.
Disliked: The men’s showers were slightly cold depending on what time of day you showered. Could do with some wifi.
Thank you so much all the showers are the same temperature sometimes when its quiet the hot takes a little longer to come through :-)

Disliked: The bell tent had no electric hookup, need more hooks in the showers , could do with more showers and toilets, WiFi did not work. Double bed in the bell tent was only big enough for one person .
Glad you enjoyed your stay we dont have wifi that might be why it didnt work :-)

Liked: Location, fire pit, size of pitch, nice farm shop on site and friendly staff.
Disliked: The huge crowd of screaming teenagers who arrived a couple of hours after us and stayed the whole 4 nights. I am not blaming the group, I actually like young people and chose to work with them for over 20 years.Their leaders did a good job of getting them to quiet down around 11pm. However the site owners need to choose between running a place that takes large groups (at least 3 large minibuses full) or promotes itself as a quiet place to relax. The two don't mix, and the facilities were too few for that many people. We won't be back sadly and will pass this experience to others thinking of camping in the area.
Im not quite sure where to start other than the weather was practically wet and windy during your stay with and we are all very sad you decided to give us such a low score for our site. Making assumptions that we have groups all of the time this is NOT I repeat NOT true. Regarding the very respectful school of less fortunate children that come to us once a year to enjoy the countryside and outside activities which they are never given the chance to do at home which I think we did explain to you when you were here?
We only accept this group as this is a school they were in a completely separate and had the use of completely separate facilities.
As you say they were quiet by 11pm every night and were only slightly noisy on the one evening which was presentation evening it would have been rather mean to say they couldn't clap and cheer the winners when they were all around the camp fire enjoying what we feel children should do rather than being on their phone not speaking or interacting with anyone. We clearly state we area family site and encourage children to enjoy the outdoors with campfires we have quiet time at 11pm which we feel is quite early for people on holiday and was adhered to by the school at all times. We are a quiet site with plenty of facilities for our pitches and feel it is a nice thing to do to let some unfortunate children enjoy our area once in a while. and feel that we have plenty of room to do this and had many people staying at the same time saying how lovely it was to see children actually outside enjoying themselves for a change and what how it was great that they were in the next field but still enjoying a campsite feel
I find it hard to understand the 1 for for customer service and then you say we have friendly staff?
Maybe a smaller 5 van site would have been a better choice for yourselves such a shame just bad timing on both behalves and as the owners we need to accept we cant please everyone all of the time :-)
