Liked: Great location for walking down to Lee and surrounding area. Lots to do. Friendly staff. Well equipped shop selling tasty treats such as coffee, bacon sandwiches. The campsite itself was fairly quiet despite the number of people. We'll definitely come again outside of the summer hols.
Disliked: Toilets were pretty grim at this time of year (visited in spring when it was less busy and it was fine but they didn't seem to be cleaning them nearly often enough this time and they smelled bad). There seemed to be a constant loud revving engine noise day and night from somewhere nearby (not the site itself) which got annoying after a while. Showering without having to dress standing in a murky puddle from the adjacent shower proved tricky.

Its a shame you dint mention the noise we may have been able to locate ? strange we haven't heard it ? and no one has mentioned it before or since ? We clean the showers and toilets at least 3 times a day but as you say during busy periods it is difficult as they are constantly in use we do leave cleaning materials in the blocks if things are below your personal standard there is also a squeegee for water removal if needed in each block too... As you say its august high season and very busy with lots of families and children that perhaps dont take quite as much care as adults with the facilities we do try our very best to keep the site as clean as possible at all times and always encourage people to mention things if they need our attention :-)

Liked: We loved the location and the vast space of camping areas. The family atmosphere was wonderful. The farm shop was amazing and omg the Sunday roast pork baguettes with all the trimmings were exceptional !!
Disliked: Quite exposed and windy but the owners can’t change that !

Liked: Lovely chilled out campsite. One of our favourites! Well run and always clean and tidy. Great spot to stay when exploring North Devon.
The shop is well stocked with local produce and well priced too. Coffee is great. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Bike Hire on site is a good set up.Disliked: Nothing! It’s all good!!

Liked: Good food options from the farm shop restaurant and camping shop. Pitches were good in size and we had plenty of space
Disliked: Toilets and showers were ok… took a long time to heat up and didn’t always have a greatest smell, but were clean enough.

Liked: The staff were really kind and helpful and the facilities were excellent… hot showers and a breakfast menu if you don’t want to cook! The location was perfect and Putsborough beach is to die for! Dog friendly and plenty of space.

Liked: A really well run campsite. Not too busy when we were there, a well stocked and useful shop, and shower/toilet facilities all excellent. Plenty of space around the site a great location to hit the beaches as well as exploring the countryside.
