Liked: Really lovely site. So beautiful and wonderful hosts. A lovely weekend and will return in the future. With recent wet weather hosts couldn’t be more helpful and found us a lovely pitch.

Liked: Fantastic site. Really thoughtful hosts, with excellent local knowledge so enjoyed walking and just being at the Firs. Thank you, to The Firs Fishery, as just the break we needed, a true holiday get away. On the perfect pitch for us.

Liked: Lovely quiet site in secluded location. A bit muddy in the field after all the heavy rain but good hard standing. Really helpful hosts. Very well kept. Nice local pub.

Liked: Site was quiet and the owners very welcoming and helpful. The pitch was a good size grassed but hardcore under neither which was a must due to the amount of rain their had been lately.
The fishing large ponds and surround flowers made it pretty and more eye pleasing then some of the clinical sites you see.
Wifi was ok and nobodies children running round as a no children site due to the fishing ponds. Facilities only gave a 3 out of 5 because, only saw a toilet, but it was clean but no shower.
Disliked: The public road access, extremely unkept. Not good in a camper van
Glad you had a good time, even if the weather was not kind! Please come again when the sun is shining,

Liked: This place is beautiful. If you like a really quite tranquil places, seeing nature and birds ive never seen before (and still dont know what some of them were) everywhere, have dogs and love walking in huge huge woods, awsome fishing, being welcomed by the most freindly site owners you have ever met THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.
Disliked: Maybe 240v would if been nice for a longer stay but this is more than made up for by this stunning sites make up

We are not able to put in electric hook ups as we are limited to the power supply.

Hartelijke ontvangst door Margareth, alle faciliteiten werden goed uitgelegd, prachtige natuur, mooie vijver met steiger en wandelingetje, fijn kleinschalige camping, nette faciliteiten als kamperen bij de boer, en prachtige bossen eromheen om te wandelen met de honden. Keurige prijs vergeleken bij andere dergelijke campings die veel minder gemak gaven. Ik zou hem graag aan iedereen aanbevelen, maar dan hebben we het de volgende keer minder rustig ;-)

This is a disanointing review. They did not book a pitch and just turned up, it is clear on the system that we don't have showers. Why give us 3/5 for accommodation it is your tiny tent..... Really.
Lovely to meet you both, glad you had a good time and enjoyed your birthday party. We made the best of a bad situation as the ground was so wet, thanks for working with us regarding the parking. Look forward to seeing you again, take care, Stuart.
