    From a warm welcome from the owners, the firs offer a peaceful and picturesque setting for a relaxing break with fishing available if you choose,toliet on site and level pitches,will definitely return

    The owners were lovely , came and saw us as soon as we had got there. WiFi on the pitch. No showers but toilet facilities. So peaceful and tranquil. Definitely would stay again.

    This was our second time visiting and camping at the Firs, but it’s our favourite place to go. Sitting back and relaxing by the fire while watching the stars is amazing and so peaceful, the owners are lovely people always checking up to see if there is anything you need and always around for a lovely chat. It’s a place we would recommend to anyone and everyone! It’s only a 15-20 min walk to the pub through lovely country lanes and the fishing was amazing, (even tho we are still new to it) we did manage to catch something

    Margaret and Stuart are so lovely and accommodating. Our second time here. Fishing was brilliant. So very quiet and peaceful. Adults only. Saw lots of wild life! Great walks through woods to pub. We will be back!

    Wonderful peaceful location and incredible friendly hosts - despite booking a pitch with an hours notice on a Friday evening, they were there to greet us with a smile when we arrived at 8.30pm and were around periodically so had a couple of brief chats, very welcoming. Adults only which was a nice change for me, I have a 3 year old so I love kids, but it was nice to be able to choose a break without! Toilet facility kept super clean and a short to reasonable walk from all pitches. Shame we didn't get to explore more of the immediate surroundings, we'll be back!

    WiFi didn't work at our pitch but you could get signal closer to the house. To be honest we were after a break from connectivity anyway so that suited us well!

    The campsite was so clean with really large plots, both owners were so nice really friendly people who always came along and asked if you needed anything. The lake for fishing was amazing even tho only managing to catch one fish we had such a great time and will be booking it again
