Excellent location. Great hosts. Lovely club hut and showers. Loved the generous spacing of the pitches.

What's not to like? Location is wonderful, owners engaging and helpful. Site is spotlessly clean. Pitches are well spaced. It has a real sense of community too.

Nothing. Although I would make the comment that pitchup says 11 - 25 pitches. There were a lot more than that.

Perfect get away. The location is excellent the site is beautiful and the facilities so clean. The hosts are lovely people and it has a great vibe to the place. It’s our second time visiting and we’ll definitely be back. Love it here!

What a blooming amazing site!! Have stayed here twice now it is that good of a site!! The owners have put in some amazing effort into making the site brilliant!! The grounds are kept so well maintained. Lil pond which has wildlife around it. The shower facilities are superb with power supply and seats (I could actually dry my hair!!). There is a communal area with TV, calor gas fire, chairs, radio, cooking facilities and WiFi. It has been beautifully designed and well kept. The pitches are huge!! It felt like our own campsite where we stayed as no one else was around us. The lake is secluded in some woodland area which is just through a fence at the site which my dog absolutely loves. Ellesmere is a 5mins drive away with a lot of pubs, shops,walks etc. I was able to park my car next to my tent which is always handy when unpacking/packing. I can't think of a single thing that I dislike about the site. Will definitely be coming back again, and again to the site.

A pretty site which is well maintained. The pitches are all a good distance apart and positioned well. The communal building is a great idea and a lovely place to sit and relax in the evenings. At the foot of the site there is direct access to Colemere Lake and surrounding woodland. The site owners are friendly and helpful. It's a lovely site which has been given a lot of thought and a great place to relax. We will definitely visit again.

Everything! What a fabulous site. If you want a truly relaxing camping experience this site is a must.
My husband & I (plus dog) stayed for 5 nights non-electric. The site was very quite when we arrived so literally had the pick of all the pitches spanning two fields. Even when it got busier towards the weekend the pitches are so spaced out it didn't feel in anyway busy.
The grounds & facilities are very well maintained.
We had a warm welcome on arrival day & a map of the surrounding area & local recommendations. We tried several which did not disappoint.
The site is literally a few steps away from Colemere lake which is beautiful, especially at sunset.
I honestly can't fault this site. Have camped for many years & this is by far the best site we've been to.

Site itself is fantastic and great location. I would have given it 10/10 but 10.30pm fireworks upset our dog a lot and nearby campers talked loudly until 3.45 am so we got no sleep. We will book again though but will check the site to find out about fireworks. It could be a wedding venue nearby and hopefully the awful folk won’t be back at the same time!
