Loved the Site from the get go on arrival. Beautiful woodlands and a large camping field which was all pristine. Loved the fact there was animals in the middle on the little farm park which was cute to see each day and the kids loved the animals. The play area in the woodlands and the nature trail was a great hit with all of us old and young. The toilet block/showers/washing up areas were all clean and well maintained. And most of all big thanks to owners George, Charlotte and Steve who were always around to chat to with poppy (the dog) trotting behind, lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you and always stayed around and had the time to have a good chat with everyone. We will definitely be back very soon, we cant wait! Thanks everyone for a fab May Bank holiday weekend! :-)

The only dislike is being woke up at 03.30 by the rooster but that’s part of the experience I suppose, not really a dislike because we did enjoy the place

Cleanliness of the site facilities. Lovely area.

Car parking. No patrols to control noise at night. Dogs not being on leads.

Nice wide area to pitch, great surrounding area. The facilities were great and close by.

Would come back with a group next time as it’s mostly family orientated.

Great pitch in the trees. Great welcome on arrival. And plenty of sun (as ordered)!

Staff very friendly, the site was lovely and the farm was right next us which was nice. The pitch itself with lovely and the staff werent picky about where you pitch up.

Great site and if you have children plenty on site for them to do. Farm animals where great to see. Didn't enjoy the cockerel singing at 4am each morning though 😉

Stayed in the Bell Tent, the area was great, a good number of equally spaced Bell Tents each with their own wooden chairs and fire pit. The area was very clean and free from litter, and for those reviews that complain about the green on the sides of the tents, it is completely natural, safe, and honestly I believe made the Bell Tents look more at home in the wooded area.
The inside was very well equipped and nicely presented with a comfortable bed complete with bedding, and smaller futon style beds for the kids, these may be less suitable for older kids or teenagers, but for our kids they were perfect!
There were string lights and solar lights dotted around inside and out, which made visibility much better, and made the kids more comfortable, but you will need a torch for getting around the site in the dark.
The logs and kindling were great, and the mystical fire sachets were far better than I would have expected! The fire became a very impressive light show which lasted a long time, and kept the kids and adults mesmerised for a good hour or so!
The toilet block was great, although I would be interested to see how well they keep on top of cleanliness when the site is at capacity!
The play area and bike track were great, kids had a lot of fun, they even made friends with the owners children and kept each other entertained for a few hours here and there!
Some lovely local pubs and shops for any essentials etc. so you aren’t stuck on site if you fancy a change of scenery.
Overall, myself and my family really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend visiting!

On arrival I was happy with everything but I was a little disappointed in the firewood and kindling situation, in total I paid £39 for the extras, and not only was it not at our plot on arrival (I had to go and collect it in my car), I was let down by the amount of wood, for nearly £40 I was hoping to have plenty of wood for our two night stay, and unfortunately there was just enough for one night, and I also noticed the price list on a sign on site with significantly lower prices than what I paid? This did annoy me, but I didn’t let it spoil our weekend.
