Disliked: We left a day early as we booked an extra night a few weeks before our stay. I wanted to do a bit of fishing but never got the chance. If you like quite time then this isnt the place to stay it was like being at a rave all night. The toilets and showers where not very clean. Wouldn't recommend this site. We will be sticking to the camc from now on.they need to police the noise and the site more it was like a jungle atmosphere where people thought they could do what they like.

Liked: Freedom of site. Staff were very helpful and easy going. We used there fire pit at no extra cost. Lovely fishing pond. Let us stay for a few hours longer after check out time.
Disliked: Toilet and shower block could do with an upgrade. Hard standing pitch wasn’t level.
Thankyou Rebecca , great to read your lovely comments and the amenities are due to be upgraded, it does mention on pitch up to bring levellers as we are on a slight slope due to being in the derbyshire dales

Disliked: Bin service could be better and recycle facilities would be nice.

The whole family loved the fishing lakes and there was plenty of fish to be caught to keep the kids entertained.
We was on an EHU pitch we had no issues at all. We even took our projector for movie night as signal was great on EE and o2 to hook up to the fire stick.
The shop was well stocked and very good prices, this is also where the wifi was.
The camp toilets and showers were clean and loved the music for the night*time toilet trips.
We also did the Pub walk to the cock inn and followed the walking instructions they offered it was really good the kids even loved it trying to find our way, we extended our walk to the tiger pub and then back to the campsite.Disliked: The pitch we was given was very close to the road and the mornings was a little loud but im sure if other pitches were available they would move you and we did request to be next to another booking. Next time we would request a pitch away from the road as we will 100% be back.

Liked: Lovely, friendly site with great sized pitches in a very peaceful and rural area.
Disliked: Some pitches were quite hilly so it took a while to get flat! Two showers per ladies/mens room so can get quite busy.

We are sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay. We do police our site, the music was not on site but from a three day festival in derby. The amenities are cleaned at least three times a day and when needed.
I spoke to your wife this morning and she was happy with the stay and had no complaints. We live on site and our numbers are given to everyone if there are any issues and we will insure any problems are dealt with immediately.
