Very friendly welcome from the owners. This is a very professionally run site. Everything is spotless. Facilities are great. On site shop is a lovely touch. The best thing is location. Come here if you want to start your day with a good hot shower, go out and explore, and come back for unsettled sleep.

There is road noise during the day but it is peaceful at night. Although in a scenic place there are no views from the site itself.

The couple running the site were welcoming, friendly and flexible.

The barrier on the site has a number plate checker stopping cars not authorised from accessing the site.

Although the facilities were cleaned once a day, they were checked for toilet roll etc more often to ensure they didn't run out.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful at all times. The site itself is immaculately kept. There are neatly trimmed hedges and grass all around the site. All of the facilities were spotless during my stay. Being adult-only made for a peaceful stay. A lovely dog-friendly site with some stunning views. I Will be returning to Barley Meadow.

Not so much a dislike, I booked very late, the morning of my arrival, and so my camper went onto a grass pitch rather than a nice level gravel pitch (which were all taken a such short notice). If you go on grass in a camper, you may need chocks.

This will be the golden level I hold all adult only campsites to! We had a warm lovely welcome. Such a great place, well thought out with the privacy hedges and picnic benches. The toilets and showers are lovely and super clean. We will absolutely be back!

Well organized and laid out site. Excellent sized level pitch with plenty of space around. Good wi-fi. Easy access with no tight lanes. Very pleasant owners who were always pleased to help. Super showers and wc. A very enjoyable trip in our new caravan. Off to a good start!
