Lovely tidy clean place well set up.
Very helpful staff.
My only reason for saying that I wouldn't stay again is because we go for the dog walking and this is made more difficult with a motorhome for parking.

Great facilities, lovely well-kept site, super friendly staff, easy check-in process, well stocked shop with all the essentials, great enclosed dog exercising area, farm shop 2 mins walk away, good location for exploring the local area.

Slight road noise. No off road walks from site.

The site is exceptionally kept in excellent condition throughout, the staff Leigh & David always have a warm and genuine welcome and always pleased to see you whether your first time or sixth like us.
Looking forward to our next visit and just left today and missing the area all ready you can’t find a better site around the area, plus dogs are made welcome and have a play area.

I've returned to Barley Meadow because it's a great place to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings. For a single traveller like myself, the adult-only aspect is a bonus. The hosts are extremely good, you always get a friendly welcome and they are very helpful. The pitches are very generous and well-kept. Spotless facilities. 'The Bothy' is a nice touch; a communal building with a pool table, a selection of books and games and access to a fridge freeze and charging points.
My dog loves the area set aside for him and his pals and the views from there are stunning.

Good for short breaks as well positioned with easy access from road.

We were positioned between two pitches that had dogs that were an issue. We’re were told about one sides dogs that were reactive to people passing and noises but the dog on the other side had a high pitched bark and constantly barked whined etc even when owners were there but out of sight. If we had been staying longer we wouldn’t have as it spoilt any relaxation time. We do have dogs but this dog was unbearable to be situated beside.
