What customers say
Great spot near the ferry and beach, with friendly staff and good grub. Facilities are clean but a bit old. Pitches okay, but close. Good for quick stops, but pricey for longer stays.

Great location, but expensive site and cramped.
 Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Great location. 20 mins from Santander ferry terminal, and on pretty little sea cove. Santander itself is a great city.
Disliked The pitches are very close together. Almost no room to sit between vehicles without being in the shade.
Overpriced. We were surprised to be charged €40 for one night rather than the usual figure of around €30.

Great location / value for money. Easily accessible from ferry port
 Electric optional grass pitch
Liked We love this site !! Beautiful location near to the sea. Very peaceful and safe. The showers and launderette area are excellent.
The staff are very helpful and pleasant and the camping pitches are very well maintained.
A great local bar for food and drink is only 5 mins walk out of the campsite (near the beach)!

The village with more eating and drinking options, is about 20/30 mins walk and a bus to Santander takes about 40 mins from that village.
Would definitely recommend for a lovely stay, 20 mins drive from the Santander ferry port. 5 mins drive to the local town, with good supermarket and a couple of restaurants.
Disliked Although October is probably out of season, you must stock up and bring supplies with you as we couldn’t buy much food and drink on site.

Very poor value for money
 Electric optional grass pitch
Liked The location is good for Santander if you have your own transport or a bicycle as the bus service is infrequent and one of the routes ends 1 mile from the campsite. A good sandy beach is a 5 minute walk from the campsite. The reception staff are pleasant.
Disliked The site is expensive and very poor value for money especially as one can park and stay in a motorhome in the centre of Santander as we found out. Pitches are very small. We were unable to put up our motorhome awning and it felt like camping on a carpark. The facilities are dated and are in need of maintenance. The cleaner was very thorough and I felt sorry for her as her very good work is marred by the lack of maintenance. There were no lights in the washing up and clothes washing area. Latches were missing off some of the shower doors. The swimming pool was shut when we went to use it. We had a longer stay the most others (4 nights) and it would appear most people use it as a night halt especially UK guests catching the ferry from Santander.

Liked The welcome at the reception and information provided leaves you in no doubt what the campsite is all about.
Disliked Some of the pitches have limited space to the point of you cannot extend the canopy on your motorhome

Great stopover
 Electric optional grass pitch
Liked The clean & tidy site, bar & restaurant staff, position near the coast and handy for the ferry.
Disliked The state of the toilets and showers, they all need updating.

A busy and well used site showing signs of age.
 Electric optional grass pitch
Liked We’ve been staying here as the last stopover before the ferry on numerous occasions. They now have partially paved pitches which is an improvement. The restaurant provides basic but nicely cooked fare.
Disliked The toilet/shower facilities although plentiful are a bit shabby nowadays - a ‘reforma’ would be appropriate.
Pitches a bit tight for bigger vans.
