Liked Sehr schöne Lage, ruhiges Umfeld und warmherzige ambiance. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ebenso empfanden wir es als sehr angenehm, dass die Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber waren.

Liked Ein sehr schön aufgebauter Campingplatz. Es gibt gute Duschen, eine eigene Spülmaschine und Tiergehege sowie zwei freilaufende Hasen und ein Huhn man kann mit der App die Gegend erkunden oder Brötchen bestellen. Die Betreiber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Im Cosyhouse kann man gut entspannen oder Spiele spielen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort.

Disliked Es gab sehr viele Spinnen, was nicht für jeden etwas ist.

Liked Kleiner, ansprechender Campingplatz mit netten Betreibern. Mit Spülmaschine, sehr exklusiv. Die Privaten Sanitäranlagen sind super! Waschmaschine, Trockner und Tiefkühlpack-Service runden das Angebot ab:)

Disliked Die öffentlichen Sanitäranlagen sind recht klein und nicht nach Geschlechtern getrennt. Zu Stoßzeiten dann recht voll und "stickig" ;)

Liked Die Betreiber und alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Der Platz ist äußerst gut gepflegt, die Stellplätze haben eine gute Größe. Auch die Mietbäder sind top und von der Größe her ausreichend.
Es gibst schöne Veranstaltungen und Lagerfeuerabende mit Musik und Marshmallows in den Sommermonaten!

Liked Spent a great 10 days here. Small and friendly site with good facilities. Very calm and relaxed atmosphere. Child friendly. Really liked the individual bathrooms and the free dishwasher that took 5 mins!

Local attractions

Visit the Kop van Noord-Holland in spring to see the bulb fields as a riot of colour; you can explore them on foot, by bike or on a guided tour. If the kids are bored by bulbs, distract them by visiting Dierenpark Hoenderdaell (five minutes’ drive) to see lemurs, alpacas and big cats – or perhaps jump on the ferry to Texel from Den Helder (15 minutes) for a day of pottering around in the sand dunes, swimming in the sea and (hopefully) spotting a seal or two basking on the shoreline. Stay awhile in Den Helder itself to learn about the region’s maritime legacy at the Dutch Navy Museum, or visit Fort Kijkduin, built in the Napoleonic era. For more submersion in Dutch culture, visit the colourful cheese market in Alkmaar (35 minutes); showcasing vast yellow rounds of Gouda cheese, it takes place every Friday morning in the Waagplein. A celebration of West Frisian folklore takes place in Schagen (20 minutes) on summer Thursdays, when historic carriages are paraded through the streets by residents wearing traditional costumes and wooden clogs.
