A sandy beach and a lush pine forest… and a setting a few kilometres from the Etruscan wine route as well as within day trip distance of Florence, Pisa and San Gimignano: this Tuscany site has you sorted for the lot. The Tuscan Riviera beach of Marina di Bibbona is a 600-metre wander from Campeggio Il Gineprino, along a peaceful and scenic tree-lined path. As the site is between sea and pine forest, plenty of paths for walking and pedalling are in the immediate surroundings for coastal or woodland walks, cycles and horseback rides. The Etruscan coast wine route, including the village of Bolgheri, is accessible in under 15 minutes' drive. Gineprino has plenty to do for all tastes among its seaside setting, such as a scenically set pool and paddling pool surrounded by greenery, and active options including a football pitch, mountain bike hire, a volleyball court and table tennis. A small playground and a summer club are to hand for the kids. Sun loungers line the poolside for guests' free use for placidly lazy days, along with gardens and roomy outdoor spaces to loaf around in. Or lurk for some time at the on-site restaurant to work your way through a varied menu of Tuscan cuisine including Chianina beef and local fish, served with fresh local produce and the site's own extra virgin olive oil. For more foodie and drinkie options, hang out at the bar, pick up a pizza to have on the beach, or bag supplies at the mini market to fry up on the communal barbecues.

Local attractions

When the day's particularly hot, take off for a peaceful stroll, bike ride or horseback hack along the cool forest trails, or tee off at the golf course within half an hour's drive. Canoeing, sailing and windsurfing are all available in Marina di Bibbona. Or if you're the sort who likes to gently simmer under an Italian sun, take your beach towel and sunscreen on the short walk to Marina di Bibbona beach, or to clamber up the sand dunes to find your own particularly secluded spot. A bit further afield, arrange horse riding sessions in the Val di Cecina within about half an hour's drive. A couple of peaceful options are nature spotting at the Padule di Bolgheri wildlife reserve, within 20 minutes' drive, or accessing the Etruscan coast wine route at the famed village of Bolgheri, within 30. For a tad more adrenaline, take the kids or your adventure-seeking self to the Cavallino Matto amusement park, 15 minutes by car, or to make a splash at the Acqua Village Cecina waterpark, 20 minutes' drive along the coast.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

General

Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 02/09.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.
