Book yourselves into Hu Firenze Certosa Camping in Town and you’ll be in a fabulously spacious and scenic spot surrounded by greenery on a hillside about four miles from the city centre. This chilled-out site is in a very strategic position for dipping in and out of Florence – you can drive into the city centre in around 15 minutes, but it's likely to be much easier to hop on the bus from a stop a few minutes’ walk away and save yourself the hassle of parking. Take in all the amazing art, architecture, food and city vibes… and then when it’s time to relax, head back into the hills and enjoy an evening soaking up the peace and the views. After a long day of sightseeing you'll no doubt be pleased to have the chance to take a nice dip in the outdoor pool, pick up a cool beer at the bar and then settle down at the restaurant for a good meal on the cool covered terrace. Breakfast is served at the restaurant too, and the site has a well-stocked mini market for self-catering supplies. Florence may be the big draw here, but you could easily use this place as a base for other Tuscany trips too, heading out into the Chianti hills for walks and wine tasting or setting off for a stroll around Siena.

Liked Leuk park, zo te zien redelijk recentelijk opgeknapt maar wel met een Franse slag.

Disliked De plaatsen zijn over het algemeen met korrelmix voorzien waarin allerlei breuksteen in zit uit sloop van gebouwen, o.a. glas tegels enzovoorts, ook zijn de wegen slecht en met beton gerepareerd, dit maakt het erg stoffig en zwaar lopen in dit heuvelachtig park.

Liked Tolle neue und.sehr saubere Toiletten und.Duschen. Schöner Pool für Fam mit Kindern.
Sehr freundliches Personal.
Tolles Restaurant mit leckeren 😋 Pizzen und.vielen mehr. Ein kleiner Supermarkt mit angemessen Preisen ist auch am Platz. Eine guten Busschatel nach Florenz ( Firenze] gibt es auch. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Disliked Für Personen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, nicht so gut, da der Platz auf mehrere Ebenen angelegt ist.
Der Vorteil der Ebenen ist aber, daß die Plätze weiter weg vom Poll sind und somit ist es sehr ruhig am Platz.

Liked Saubere Anlage und toller Pool.
Super Restaurant und Minimarkt.
Shuttle nach Florenz war einfach und schnell!

Disliked Pestizide wurden versprüht. Man sollte nach Fenster und Türen geschlossen halten. Waren mit einem Zelt unterwegs und ich musste nachts beim versprühen stark husten :( fühlte sich nicht gesund an.

Liked Me gustó mucho este camping. La parcela estaba bien,la piscina genial y era muy tranquilo .las instalaciones estaban limpias y el personal fue amable y nos ayudaron en todo momento Alquilamos un coche para la movilidad ,porque desde allí hicimos varias visitas .
Tienen un transporte que te deja en Florencia y si te adaptas a los horarios funciona bien.

Disliked Nos tocó una parcela junto a unos bungalows que estaban bastante abandonados ,y se hospedó cada noche gente diferente que no eran turistas ,lo que eran no lo sé . Un poco extraño ,pero fue donde nos pusieron .

Liked Un lugar estupendo y con muy buenas instalaciones. Precio muy asequible en el supermercado. Piscina magnífica y buen restaurante. Rodeado de vegetación y con todos los servicios necesarios para una buena estancia. Personal en general muy cortés y profesional.

Pulizia del campeggio e dei bagni, eccellente.
Personale, giovane, molto cortese, disponibile e decisamente competente e professionale.
Il ristorante direi buono ( ho preso solo una pizza ). Piscina pulita e ben sorvegliata. Ottimo lo spazio solarium.

Disliked Se devo trovare un difetto, direi l'ingresso alle vasche della piscina. Circondata da un picco "fossato" per la pulizia dei piedi credo, risulta scivoloso

To Florence first, of course… the travel options here are so handy that you can easily plan to do several smaller trips or one full-on day out, depending on how long you’re staying for. The list of things to see and do is practically endless, but should certainly include things like the Uffizi Galleries, the Accademia Gallery (home of Michelangelo's David), the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo… and plenty of stops for tasty food and drinks. Speaking of drinks, you’ll be handily close to the Chianti wineries here, so spending a day or two exploring the area, stopping in at vineyards, taking rural walks and visiting pretty villages like Greve in Chianti (half an hour’s drive) and Castellina in Chianti (35 minutes). For an insight into local food as well, tour the Museo della Pasta del Pastificio Morelli (40 minutes). A little further afield but worth the trip are other Tuscany towns and cities including Pistoia (35 minutes), Siena (50 minutes) and Arezzo (50 minutes). The intriguing Museum of Glass in Empoli (35 minutes) is worth a visit too.
