Great spot with brilliant Etna views, a short stroll to the beach. Shady, spacious pitches. Restaurant food gets rave reviews for being top-notch and good value; staff are super friendly and helpful. From the manager: Es tut mir leid, dass Ihr Aufenthalt auf unserem Campingplatz so enttäuschend war. Die Sanitäranlagen sind zwar renovierungsbedürftig, werden aber mehrmals täglich gereinigt. Ein älteres, aber sauberes Bad ist meiner Meinung nach besser als ein neues, aber schmutziges. Das Restaurant sollte eigentlich geöffnet sein, aber der Manager ist in Urlaub gefahren – dafür können wir nichts. Gute Restaurants finden Sie nur 1 km entfernt. Vom Campingplatz aus können Sie an einer geführten Tour auf den Ätna teilnehmen oder ein Auto mieten, um nahegelegene Orte wie Taormina, die Giardini Naxos, Catania, die Alcántara-Schlucht, Acitrezza und den Ätna zu besuchen. Taormina und Catania sind auch mit dem Zug erreichbar. Der Bahnhof ist 3 km entfernt, und es gibt einen Transferservice. Wir konnten leider nicht gemeinsam einchecken, da Sie während Ihrer Mittagspause ankamen; wir haben uns erst nach Ihrer Abreise gesehen. Ich stehe unseren Gästen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Sollten Sie mich nicht an der Rezeption finden, bin ich in der Nähe der Sanitäranlagen (Reinigung). Ich sehe, Sie haben unsere Internetverbindung zumindest zu schätzen gewusst!

Disliked The price. The pitches weren't marked out. The reception was never open. The maintenance man was working but never got anything done just made lots of noise and parked his truck Infront of our van and left it there all night. The toilet and shower s were awful no toilet seats or toilet roll or soap. The site was in what looked like a rubbish dump. The litter on the roadside is terrible,the beach was covered in rubbish - no one seems to care. It should be free to stay.

From the manager: Dear Guest,
The reception is open in the morning from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and in the afternoon from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. If there was no one at reception, it's because I was busy with something to do at the campsite or in the management office, but they didn't check, didn't ask at the restaurant, and didn't even ring the bell near the door.
I waited all afternoon, so much so that I emailed them to ask what time they'd arrive, and I even left a note at the restaurant at 8:00 pm before leaving that a camper was due to arrive from the UK and might be arriving later, since I haven't heard from them.
The maintenance man was working, but the van didn't leave, so he stayed there, not because he wanted to leave it on purpose.
The noise didn't last long, and I was there, just long enough to clear the yard of fallen leaves.
There's no landfill inside the campsite; perhaps you're talking about the town. I don't think cleaning the beach and streets is our job. Maybe in your town, you go and clean the streets and beaches from trash left by uncivilized people or washed up by storms?
If the price seemed excessive, you could have chosen a cheaper one; there was no need to come to us and make up a thousand excuses.

Liked Pole u podnóża Etny z widokiem na wulkan. Bardzo miły personel. Świetna restauracja. Zaplecze sanitarne ma swoje lata, ale jest utrzymane w czystości. Plaża po drugiej stronie ulicy.
Disliked Ciepła woda wyłącznie pod prysznicem na żetony. Wszechobecne mrówki (w recepcji dostępny bezpłatnie preparat)
