Lovely, well-kept campsite by river/canal, great for cycling. Visitors love clean, spacious pitches, modern loos, and friendly staff. Good vibe, play areas, bar. Some facilities basic, amenities a walk, restaurant hours limited.

Liked Great little stop over.! Great facilities in the main block. Very friendly and helpful reception.

Disliked The smaller toilet block had no paper or soap.! Wasn’t a problem for us as we always take ours.

Liked The campsite itself it’s okay, the showers and toilets were nice.
The small bar was nice.

Disliked The area around has nothing to do. The bar on-site had restricted drinks and shut at 7:30pm.

Liked Wunderbar für uns und für unseren Hund: super Campingplatz, schöne, grosse und günstige Stellplätze, in der Mosel, die direkt an den Campingplatz grenzt, können Mensch und Hund wunderbar schwimmen, Abendessen sehr gut, ebenso wie die Baguette und die Croissants am Morgen. Drei wirklich schöne Tage ... wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Disliked Nichts zu vermerken.

Liked A lovely location for a campsite, close to the Moselle river and canal. The hosts were very welcoming, the site well set out, pretty flower beds and pots, well signposted with a children’s play area and the facilities near reception were clean throughout. We had a good sized pitch for our camper and awning, and thankfully some shade as it was scorching hot! The site also offered a daily bread delivery, a bar and a choice of evening set meals.

Disliked The second facility unit, although much closer to all pitches than the newer one by reception, was a bit run-down and only operational with two toilets and washing up facilities, no showers! Probably work in progress?
We ordered an evening meal which was plentiful and tasty, but a bit off-putting as everything hot was microwaved in view behind the bar!

Disliked weinig schaduw op de plaatsen.
6Amp electra is wat weinig in deze tijd
Er staat Restaurant op de kaart ,in werkelijkheid slechts enkele vaste microgolf gerechten (menu's)
2de sanitair blok is aan update toe, was wel steeds proper.

Liked Clean , quiet site. Very friendly staff, great for bike rides. Bar and restaurant on site and can order bread for the morning.

Disliked Couldn't access the river which was shame
Only 1 car allowed on a pitch due to being on a flood plain

Local attractions

Bring your bikes along – the Voie Bleue cycle route (running from Luxembourg to Lyon) passes by the site, so you can cycle for as long as your legs will manage. If that's too daunting, try the shorter journey to Étang du Pâquis (15 minutes’ cycle) for some fishing. For walks, take to the Wild Moselle Regional Nature Reserve (10 minutes’ drive) for gentle waterside strolls, or head out into the Vosges for hikes to waterfalls and lakes. To cool off afterwards, there's a lovely lake beach with watersports at Wam Park (20 minutes). For more water-based action, try the whitewater rafting at Base Natur’O (25 minutes). The countryside around here is fabulous – but the towns are great places to visit too. Mirecourt (20 minutes) is renowned as a town full of craftspeople, and one of the world’s violin-making hubs. Nancy (35 minutes) is another place that's worth a trip – you'll see lots of Art Nouveau architecture as you wander through the streets, and can learn more about the style at Musée de L’Ecole de Nancy.
