Camping le Haut-Dick is a small family-friendly site at the heart of the Marais du Cotentin. It is ideally located to visit the landing beaches, the wonderful Mont Saint Michel, and the headland of Cotentin.
Calm and peaceful are keyword at this small campsite surrounded by greenery. Only 600 metres from the town and the train station it is easy to go out and explore. The small harbour of Carentan will lead you to the beach only 10 kilometres away. It is a pleasant walk or cycle along dedicated paths. You can practice watersports such as canoe, kayak, and sailing.
At this friendly campsite, evening entertainment is available, as well as a special team to delight children aged from 6 to 12 in July and August. You will also find a swimming pool, children's toys, a TV room, a pool table, a bicycle renting point, and many more services.
Enjoy a meal at our restaurant, make the most of the take-away service, or simply enjoy a drink at the bar. You can purchase bread at any time.

Local attractions
Paths starting from the harbour of Carentan will lead you to the seaside only 10 kilometres away. Designed for cyclists and pedestrians, you will not be bothered by cars.
Visit the east coast to taste the delicious Balfleur mussels and the well-known Saint Vaast la Hougue oysters. From this coast you can see the isle of Tatihou where Vauban practised his art. The wind will carry you up to Cherbourg and the Cap of the Hague, before bringing you back towards the sandy beaches of Barneville Carteret.
A little further afield, you can visit the landing beaches and the famous Mont Saint Michel.
