Camping Murinsel is a quiet site next to a small lake and close to the river Mur, on the outskirts of the small town of Großlobming. This is a particularly good location for those who enjoy hiking, with numerous trails nearby for all abilities, whether you'd like a gentle walk punctuated by mountain huts where you can stop for cake, or a challenging climb up the area's highest peak, the Zirbitzkogel. There are also plenty of mountain bike routes to choose from, such as the R2 trail, a riverside route that runs past the site. Other activities nearby include golf, horse riding and kayaking or rafting trips on the river Mur. Facilities at Camping Murinsel are centred in the main house, where you'll find a cosy lounge with fireplace and TV, and a restaurant with an outdoor terrace for sunnier days. Outside, there's a playground, tennis courts and a herb garden that guests can use. There's also wifi across the site. Other amenities include a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer, a washing-up area and modern toilet block with free showers, accessible facilities and useful extras such as hair dryers. Dogs are not only welcome on site but encouraged, with facilities including a dedicated dog park and dog bathing pond.
