What customers say
Great value, prime beach spot! Staff are top, facilities spick and span, vibey atmosphere. Bistro and pizza van a winner. Pebble beach access and road noise are minor downsides. Shower pressure/availability explained by management for queues. Can get busy in peak season.

Great overall stay, we will definitely be back
Electric grass pitch (large, water hook-up)
Liked Flat pitches, near to the beach with a bar on site. Once we carried our elderly dog over the Peebles sea defence the beach was fab
Disliked The view had changed as on the promotional photos due to the sea defence. Not the sites problem but a bit misleading. The Peebles a quite hard to climb

Tired and boggy
Electric grass pitch (medium, water hook-up)
Liked Nothing. No view of the sea due to mountain of stones. Pitch was narrow but long amd just a mess of mud. Didn't stay in the end as was not happy to pay high price.

From the manager: Hi Kerry,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We’re sorry that our site did not meet your expectations. However, your comments, seem greatly at odds with our other reviews, most of which are 10 out of 10.
Our pitches are maintained to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, and we do rest areas where possible to help keep them in good condition. After a busy season, grass pitches take time to recover from heavy use.
Our pricing reflects the location, facilities, and overall quality we aim to offer, which we believe provides good value for the experience. At £10 per person per night as an all season rate, we believe it is excellent value.
We appreciate all feedback and will take your comments into consideration as we continue to improve. We hope that if you give us another chance in the future, we can provide a stay more in line with your expectations.
Best wishes,
Clare and all at Newgale Campsite.

A long drive to get there but a great coastal stop off point.
Electric grass pitch (medium)
Liked Location.
Good showers.
Decent pitches.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Fantastic sunsets.
This was a last-minute booking. Literally - we booked the afternoon before. The site was right on the seafront, separated only by a pebble bunded wall. The sunsets were spectacular and the coastline around this part of Wales is stunning.
The reception doubles up as a bar and a pizza house.
Showers were excellent and cost £1 for ten minutes but you could pay in increments at 20p per two minutes. I paid £1 first time around but found a 60p shower was actually more than enough time on the second day.

Staff are great too.
Very close to the beach and local shops. Great location with free WiFi. Local bands play live most wkends.
Just perfect.
Disliked Locally produced beers. Like drinking beer through a used sock. However after a couple it doesn't taste so bad.😅
