General

  • Friendly farm site just outside Cosheston with easy access from A477
  • Tenby, Saundersfoot and Barafundle Bay within 15 minutes' drive
  • Footpaths from site to villages, pubs, shops and Carew Castle

What a prime spot for pottering around Pembrokeshire – Lower Nash Farm is a pretty green space surrounded by gorgeous countryside but with easy access to all the area’s attractions (and there are many of them…) via a lane that links up to the A477.

That means it’s splendidly straightforward to get out and about to the likes of Pembroke Castle, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park or the beaches of Tenby and Saundersfoot – all can be reached with a drive of 15 minutes or less. On top of all that, you can also add to the list such things as walks on the Wales Coast Path, wildlife-spotting boat trips, adrenaline-fuelled days of coasteering and many other outdoor activities.

Or perhaps you’d like to stay local – there’s plenty of space to explore around the farm, and guests are welcome to spend time roaming around the more natural areas (including the mill pond and marsh area). There are lots of local footpaths to wander along too: either down to the village of Cosheston (and its excellent pub) or over to Carew Castle. You can also walk to the village of Milton for a fine village shop that sells bread, local produce and milk on tap and serves up takeaway fish and chips.

Back at base, facilities include bathrooms (opened for the 2021 season) with hot water included, a washing-up area and access to a fridge-freezer and charging points. Firepits and barbecues are welcome, as are well-behaved dogs (as long as they’re supervised and kept on leads).

A very pleasant friendly site with clean facilities including a wash up area with fridge freezer, kettle and electric sockets and two sinks. There were fire pits to borrow and sacks of logs to buy for a small price. If you fancy a campfire don’t forget your firelighters and kindling wood!
The site is a single field surrounded by beautiful mature trees. Next door is a lovely old church and a millpond next to the farm buildings. There are three glamping tents in the top part of the field away from the touring tents. There was plenty of space to pitch your tent and park your car to maintain privacy. It is in an excellent location to explore all of the many joys of the Pembrokeshire coast.
One rather odd fact was that we were aware of traffic noise the first night which turned out to be because of wind direction. On the Saturday night there was noise of a rock concert which must have come from a nearby holiday park. It was very loud at times, but it did stop by 11.30.
    Overall we love it.

Our 3rd stay here and its easily the best campsite we've been too. Lovely owners, lovely location, big spacious pitches and everything is within a short drive. Shower block/wash up area is spot on and we love how much space the kids have to run around. We look forward to coming again next season :)

Bathrooms were spacious and clean, Kitchen was really useful and we liked the honesty box next to the logs. Recycling facilities were good.
Location near to lots of beaches, attractions and small towns as well as the proximity to Tenby were excellent.

    Disliked:

Not something that can be controlled as its just nature but take insect repellent and keep tents zipped, in the evening as a huge number of midges settled on tent and van, first night we were absolutely crawling with them.

It was a fab campsite (owners are very lovely and helpful), all the facilities you need and all kept very clean.

The location was great - not too far away from some fun days out.

It was so lovely not too be on top of each other either. We would definitely return here again.

I loved this campsite, not too busy, great location, clean and quiet. Specifically I really liked:-
    - having access to the shared fridge, this was really helpful.
    - having a kettle in the shared kitchen/washing up area. Great idea and very much appreciated.
    - Site is very dark, so excellent for looking at the stars and moon on a clear night. Was able to show the kids the Milky Way, which is not at all visible where we live due to light pollution.
    - access to wood for campfire, also appreciated.

The photos on the website don't really do this site justice, I consider it a great find and look forward to staying again some day.
