Noble Court Holiday Park: Aerial view of the site

General

  • Family-friendly park 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Narberth
  • A 10-minute drive from Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme Park
  • Restaurant and bar, outdoor swimming pool and playgrounds

Noble Court Holiday Park is the perfect location to base yourself to relax and explore Pembrokeshire. It's a family-owned park set in 50 acres of Pembrokeshire countryside with fantastic views, a convenient third of a mile from the A40 and just a short stroll from the centre of the gorgeous town of Narberth.

You're never far from popular holiday destinations should you want to explore farms, theme parks and castles, and there are opportunities to go karting and quad biking nearby too so youngsters, and those who fancy themselves as young at heart, can try a bit of (safe and appealing) thrill seeking.

Noble Court has acres of lovely walks to soak up the countryside, wildflowers in abundance and loads of wildlife to spot, a great way to let the children burn up some energy or simply to take the dog for a stroll (dogs are required to be kept on leads at all times on site).

Noble Court doesn't have a shop, but Narberth is half a mile away and has plenty of shops for all you need, including local produce. Charlies Celtic Tavern is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a drink with old friends and new; children and dogs are most welcome too. On the colder evenings it's definitely the place for a drink. Please note that opening times may vary.

The park has an outdoor swimming pool which is free of charge open from Whitsun until the end of August (the pool operates on a 30-minute slot policy, and these must be prebooked, children under 16 do require supervision in this area), as well as two playgrounds

Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award

Please note

The bar is open between 01/03 and 30/11.

Tents are not accepted at this park.

Dogs are not allowed in the on-site accommodations.

Great restaurant and bar - really good menu and food! Good facilities and amenities. The pool is good for small children, well managed and well heated. Well kept grounds and great sized plots.

    Disliked:

Outdoor washing facilities and short booking slots for the pool (should be blocks of 1hr instead of 30 minutes).

The play areas were good and well-used. The pool was warm and suitable for all ages. Staff were friendly and helpful. The site was clean and tidy. It was a good location for access to Pembrokeshire's sights and activities.

    Disliked:

It was a long walk down a hill to the toilets which did get tedious at night. And although the toilet block was kept clean, the toilets didn't always flush well and frequently got backed up.
Pitching our awning on gravel was a bit tricky and uncomfortable, particularly as we have a campervan so rely on the awning as a living space.
Having to book the pool in advance for 30 min slots was also a bit of a pain. We would have liked freer access, although understand that there is no lifeguard and numbers must be managed for safety.
We felt the onsite pub was pleasant for adults, but could have done with something for the kids...a little play area or such. We may have stayed for drinks if there was something for our son to do. It lacked family appeal tbh. Also, only one vegetarian option on the menu is a bit disappointing if you don't eat meat.

The bar and food were excellent but a little expensive at £15 for a burger but good quality and portion size. Customer service was good. As our welcome packs were not ready they gave us free drinks. Toilet and shower block were clean but there's a reason there were no pictures of them, I've seen better facilities at half the price of this place.

    Disliked:

Nowhere on site or close by to exercise dogs, no poo bins anywhere. Pitch not level and no grass for the awning. Swimming pool heated all year round so was like a warm bath on the hottest day ever recorded. The toilet and shower block for campers was hideous, needs totally replacing or at least paint on the walls. When we asked them to turn the radiators off all hot water ceased as well so freezing cold showers and washing up for 2 days. We left a day early. Probably won't be back there as all the good facilities such as gym and spa seemed to be at their other 2 parks 5-7 miles away

Local attractions

A short walk from the park, the friendly little town of Narberth is lined with attractive cottages and shops and has plenty to offer visitors for a day or evening out. Mooch around the stylish boutiques and antique shops; take home treats from The Welsh Farmhouse Company, then stop in at one of the town’s pubs or cafés.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a short drive away. The 240 square miles here capture where ocean meets land: take to the waves on your surfboard, don your walking boots for hiking or take to a bike and follow the cycle routes.

Educate and entertain the children at Folly Farm, 10 minutes' drive south of the park. Carry on southward for Manor House Wildlife Park and slightly further still for Heatherton Activity Park. Get onto the A40 a third of a mile from Noble Court for easy access to all the area’s main attractions to the west and south-west. As well as Oakwood, Clerkenhill Adventure Farm and Wild Lakes are within 10 minutes.

Half an hour south west lies Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry VII.
