What customers say
Bryn a Môr has gorgeous views & peaceful, semi-wild camping. Hosts are lekker, helpful, and shepherd's huts are snug with comfy beds. Facilities are top-notch & clean. Close to secluded beaches & coastal paths, it's a chilled spot. One review noted a grumpy owner re: pack-up times/dog fees.

Liked We loved the peaceful vibes and being surrounded by nature. You can see the sea from the site and easily walk to a couple of nearby beaches. We really enjoyed learning a little more about the plants and animals around the site, and it was particularly nice purchasing some of the eggs and veg!

Coed Bach non-electric forest floor tent pitch
Liked Bryn a Môr was such a great find! We always look for sites that feel like a nice hybrid between wild camping and having facilties like a toilet and shower nearby, and this delivered perfectly. The site is really close to a number of secluded beaches and some lovely walks. The facilties - compost toilet, hot shower, outdoor sink and indoor stove, recycling- were amazing, super clean and it was basically just us using them. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the resident dog was a particular highlight.

From the manager: It was so lovely to meet you both, and I was very pleased to teach you some willow weaving too! Hoping to see you again next year :-)
A friendly campsite, close to the sea.
Coed Bach non-electric forest floor tent pitch
Liked The hosts are really welcoming and give you a tour of the site to make sure you know where everything is. The camp site has a really nice tranquil feel to it, and each pitch is spread out, so you have a quiet space to yourself. Camping under the tree was a nice way to get some extra cover and made me feel extra close to nature in my tent.

Liked Everything ... The hosts have been incredible—very supportive and helpful. The landscape is enchanting, and the beach is just a short distance from the location. There is not internet and it is adult only.

Less than friendly owner, otherwise beautiful spot

Liked Beautiful location, close access to beach
Disliked Strict pack up time for no real reason. Unfriendly owner. Camped with friends and had a lovely stay until the owner got shirty on the last day over being 15mins over the check out time. Check out time had not been stated on any information we had been given and check in time is after 3pm for a tent site…no cleaning required. Also additional charges for dogs for no real reason as no additional cleaning required for a tent site…potential to be a beautiful site without the human factor.

From the manager: This guest says there was no stated leaving time - it is clearly stated on pitch up as 11am.
This guest repeatedly let their dog off a lead - despite it being clearly stated this wasn't allowed. We have now decided not to accept dogs because of this guest's behaviour. So other guests with dogs now can't enjoy our beautiful place.
This guest is why we charged for dogs, as they can be a nuisance to other guests and to the host.
This guest was given free firewood and loaned extra matresses for their comfort. We received no thanks at all. Their review is both factually untrue as well as being personally insulting.
This review does not reflect the high standards of our facilities, nor does it reflect the high standard of our other reviews.
Fantastic semi wild camping gem with everything!
