Llyn Rhys Campsite offers lovely scenery, great views & a welcoming vibe. Guests rave about the spotless facilities, big pitches & friendly owners. Handy for local sights & walks. Some road noise & occasional sheep poo, but good value. Will return.

Liked We had a wonderful stay at Llyn Rhys campsite! The campsite itself is beautiful with great views of the mountains and surrounding fields. The facilities were always super clean and the pitches were nice and flat. The location was also great, it felt nicely in the middle of nowhere but there's a pub 5 min walk away, a lovely community cafe about 10 min walk away, access to the Offas Dyke path from the campsite, Llangollen is about a 20 minute drive via the beautiful Horseshoe Pass, Horseshoe falls and the Pontcysyllte aqueduct are also about 20 mins away by car. The best thing about the campsite is the lovely owner, Christine, who clearly puts so much effort in to make sure everyone had the best stay! Christine was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful in giving us ideas on what to do. Thank you!
