What customers say

Brilliant, well-kept farm campsite. Spotless, modern facilities (showers/toilets) and friendly owners. Lovely peaceful setting with farm animals and country views. Short stroll to town, pubs. Minor points: occasional noise, need for more loo roll.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely well maintained site with very clean showers and toilets, a great vibe about the site with a large mix of generations and different people.
Friendly owner and very responsive.
The camp rules were well observed, we were a bit worried a party on site would go on late but they stopped and respected the camp curfew, it was great watching everyone having fun
There was a well stocked farm shop on site with fantastic sausages and great meats, ice cream, cheeses, did I mention the sausages?

The pitches were well spaced and well marked, electricity supply was easily within reach.

Disliked They ran out of sausages in the farm shop

From the manager: This is my favourite review of the weekend😌thank you so much for the kind words and that you enjoyed your stay😁 Yes sorry about the sausages, we can’t believe how the sausages go😅 you’ll be very welcome back anytime and pop me a message before you do and I’ll keep some sausages for you🐷😁

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked On the day we were checking in, i received a message telling me to just pull into any pitch of my choice. Really generous pitch sizes and well maintained toilet and shower blocks. In the three days I was there, we only spoke to the owner once and that was to ask if my neighbours were keeping quiet at night. Even the kids were well behaved

Disliked Nothing.

Local attractions

A stately home built in the 17th century, Bodrhyddan Hall (five minutes’ drive) is known for its manicured lawns and paths snaking through dense woodland. After a guided tour of the interior (which takes you past artworks, period furniture and an Egyptian mummy), stop for refreshments in the tea room. With its wide sandy beach and miniature railway, Rhyl (10 minutes) is a top destination for families. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, you can head to SC2 Rhyl, with an indoor waterpark, a ninja assault course and a soft-play area for younger kids, or to the SeaQuarium. Snow leopards, lemurs and brown bears are just some of the animals at Welsh Mountain Zoo (15 minutes). Other residents include exotic birds, reptiles and the furry and feathered guests at the Children’s Farm (rabbits, guinea pigs and ducks, among others). The park also has colourful gardens and woodland walks.
