Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Lovely site nice flat pitch. Electric supply was great. Nice little play area for the children. Great location only 5 minutes into Rhyl. Two pubs in walking distance and a lovely waterfall (5min drive). Kids played until 10 pm each night felt very safe. Great stay definitely helped by all the other lovely families camping on the site at the time

Lovely site with clean drinking water, clearly marked pitches
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked I liked everything about this campsite. The lady was very nice and gave us the printed sheet with everything we needed to know on it. Clear signs on the camp. Camp very clean and tidy. My grandchildren had a lovely time on the small play area with other children. A lovely lady from the next pitch helped me get the tent up when the kids ran off to have fun instead of helping.
Disliked The only problem was finding the camp with sat nav. My sat nav said it was on the left when it was on the right.. I can see there were flags up which have almost worn out . Maybe something on a pole as it is all hedges with a gap for the site..

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Price, what a bargain. Great cause - helping an animal charity. Thorough staff, at night they drove round and checked everything before closing the gates at 10 pm. There was a small car park if you arrived late. Walking distance to pub and a waterfall. Bus stop nearby. Mix of flushing toilets and portaloos. Food options at night. Lots of extended families having a great time - they all made us feel very welcome. The pitches were all flat. It was dry the whole time we were there but if it rained you queue outside for the showers - could be a problem.
Disliked Close to a small sewage works but I honestly did not smell it at all. You'll hear the road traffic if you are on site two and close to the road. No trees or hedges between pitches (to dampen noise) but this is because it is a field.

We had a wonderful weekend at this site! We’ll definitely visit again

We would book again and plan to. :)
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We booked quite last minute and were lucky enough to secure a pitch. We did expect to see animals but after reading the reviews we understood this was no longer the case and understood their reasons.
The play park in the centre of the pitches was perfect so we could sit and relax whilst watching the little one. The food hub was handy if it was the last night and had already packed up cooking equipment etc and it was very reasonably priced and the freshly cooked pizzas were lovely.
There was also a small bar for the adults.
The pitches were spready out nicely so it did not feel cramped and there were plenty of very nice hot showers, washing up stations and nice toilets.
Disliked We go to sleep quite early, 9ish and there was still a lot of noise with children playing and adults sat around their fires etc but again, we understand we go to sleep earlier than most!

Peaceful great location

Liked We really like this campsite and have been a few times now. It’s in a good location close to Rhyl and Prestatyn. Also the water fall down the road is great if you don’t want to venture to far out.
It has everything we need toilets/ showers etc. friendly staff always there if you need them.
