What customers say
Lovely peaceful spot, great views & short walk to Hay-on-Wye and river walks. Owner Colin gets top marks! Clean facilities (horsebox showers are a hit!) and good value, despite basic portaloos. Many want to come back.

Liked Colin is a fantastic host. This site is perfectly situated of walking distance into Haye on Wye, 15 mins tops. As mentioned on the website it is basic, hence the fantastic price. Showers are amazing, portoloos were clean and tidy. Would recomend to anyone. If your expecting glamour this is not for you. If you expect beatiful scenery, lovely showers, a portoloo and no frills, this is for you. Thank you Colin.

Liked Well maintained and cleaned toilets and showers.
Toilets are porta poti but are cleaned throughout the day.
Showers are in horseboxes x 2 and are fantastic.
Very level ground with ehu and water.
It's only a 10 minute walk into Hay-on-Wye

quite, relaxing, unique, friendly owner, a lovely place
Electric optional grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked nice view
Just a few mobile toilets, a old horse trailer as a shower, just so simple and special. And still evrything there you really need.
Owner comes there multiple times a day and checks up and was super nice in general. Didnt got ask if i have evrything i need for a while, so he cares about his guests. He doesn't take too many guests (and warns you that "a lot" (~20 People) will arrive tomorrow). Wich makes the campsite really quite and relaxing.
