Beautifully kept, tranquil campsite with stunning mountain and river views. Immaculate modern facilities, especially showers/toilets. Friendly, helpful owners (Roy & Caroline) with great local knowledge. Dog-friendly with walks. Peaceful, short walk to pub. Wi-Fi/mobile can be patchy, but overall highly recommended.

Our pitch was right next to the water and was wonderful for our dog on a hot weekend. Very relaxing break and would highly recommend.

Electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Beautifully well kept caravan site next to a babbling brook, a few minutes walk to the local pub for meals or drinks. The pitches were well maintained with concrete runners on slate gravel and a sizeable area of astro turf next to the pitch, water and ehu to the pitch we were allocated. Fenced off dog walk and a large fenced secure field to let the dogs off the lead with tables and benches to sit on and watch the dogs. The showers and toilets were immaculate and the site wardens, Caroline and Roy, were extremely helpful and friendly with great local knowledge. Even went the extra mile by lending us a bayonet attachment for our new bbq.
The site is set amongst the most beautiful mountain scenery.
We will most definitely return soon.
Many thanks Roy and Caroline. See you soon.

Liked A lovely small campsite with clean toilets and showers. The owners were friendly and welcoming.
There are no cars allowed on the tent field but we were able to park right by the gate so we didn't have to carry our things very far.
The location is stunning and there are plenty of things to do in the area including lakes, waterfalls and walks.
We loved that each pitch had a picnic bench for us to use and also a BBQ/ cooking stand. We will definitely visit again.

Liked I liked the location, the campsite was lovely! Scenery, distance to the pub, the facilities, the owners/staff were also great. Clean showers, clean bathrooms in general.
Disliked The shower was a bit temperamental with temperature went cold then hot and wasn’t hugely consistent.

From the manager: Thank you for taking time out to leave a review. We didn't know there was an issue with the shower I have had someone check this so it should be all good now as we do have water tanks to ensure we don't run out of hot water.
