What customers say

Great spot for a quiet break! Lovely grounds, super clean facilities, and friendly, helpful owners. Expect limited phone signal, but most enjoy the peace. Showers take coins; a few wasps sometimes. A truly relaxing, well-kept campsite.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked We had a wonder time at Wild Meadow Camping - the site offers great privacy with large pitches, and the titular wild meadow a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning - it was so lovely to be in a campsite that cared about the beautiful nature around you. We were a large group, and even with other visitors at the campsite we didn't feel like we were imposing on anyone.

Facilities were excellent - very clean, plenty for the site size, and functioned great. Andy was a wonderful host - very generous, friendly, and communication was great throughout.

We look forward to coming back!

Disliked Nothing - it was great!

Electric hardstanding and grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Second year at this campsite and already looking to book for 2026. Facilities are immaculate, spacious pitches, beautiful surroundings - heard tawny owls, woodpeckers and many more birds on.my Merlin App. Tranquil and so relaxing. Didn't want to leave.

New Quay only a short drive away - a gorgeous place.

Electric hardstanding and grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked The atmosphere is just unreal! That was my first time camping in this country and I loved it. So secluded and there weren’t many people, it was kind of a private experience. Hosts are so helpful and nice, will definitely be coming back there

Disliked I liked everything about this place

Local attractions

For a chance to sail the ocean blue, make for New Quay (15 minutes' drive), where offshore angling trips can be booked at the harbour. Fisherfolk aren't the only ones who come here in search of mackerel – families of bottlenose dolphins can often be seen carving up the waves across Cardigan Bay. Back on land, New Quay Honey Farm (15 minutes) is worth dropping by if you've got a sweet tooth (curious kids can watch the bees busily making the wares behind a glass screen). This being Wales, there are also several top-tier fortifications around, including the rugged ruins of Newcastle Emlyn Castle (15 minutes) and Cilgerran Castle (30 minutes) with its chunky towers. Cardigan Castle (30 minutes) is well worth visiting too; there's also an eight-mile circular walk connecting Cilgerran to Cardigan if you fancy ticking off both. Those with an interest in fab Welsh fabrics, meanwhile, might want to pay a visit to the National Wool Museum (20 minutes), a nicely informative attraction that walks you through the machines, textiles and history with an array of hands-on displays. Sleeping bag not as warm as you thought? Pick up a cosy souvenir in the museum shop.
